Even your "messed up" pages are AMAZING!!! Wow what a beautiful collection of work. I love that Hannah Karlzon provides us with her fabulous illustrations and lets us GO WILD with our imaginations and color dreams to do with them as we wish. She is a wonderful illustrator right up there with the best of the best. Your color selections and your application of them are just Wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing your work with us and with giving me so much inspiration. You have given me so many ideas already and I have saved your video to my Hanna Karlzon file. I use a lot of different techniques for the background, love to use the neocolor 2. Acrylic paints with a drop gesso mixed in, paint pens, distress inks, pastels or just pencils🥰 so many options, so much fun🤗💕

Are the backgrounds acrylic

For the backgrounds i like to you caran dache neocolor 2, or amsterdam acrylic paint, when i use acrylic i add just a little gesso in it. When you mix in some gesso you can create a solid layer in just one coat. Keep in mind that the color of the paint wil change a little, when you use white gesso it will lighten the color.🤗💕
