The "women are seen as nurturing and caring" thing is actually the reason why female serial killers are such an interesting concept to a lot of people! Like yeah, there's a lot of murderers out there, but its undoubtedly true that its far more likely to be a man than a woman, this is why when male serial killers have female co-conspirators, they can pick up victims easier. Nobody really ever expects a woman to be capable of violence like that, which is what makes Miss Delight so creepy. (Its also why female offenders of ANY crime tend to get lighter sentences)

In the film Scream this social criticism is well portrayed, Nancy Loomis was a mother who avenged her son's death, Jill Roberts was jealous of her cousin and is responsible for countless deaths without mentioning Amber, Richie's girlfriend, she killed several characters, more than her male partner, and Quinn was the fastest and most agile ghostface in the entire series so far...

If you listen closely to Dog Day’s cutout while he’s screaming, you can a hear his legs being severed. The other critter’s screams were short but Dog Day’s was longer and more agonizing.

Yeah it's fascinating how his voice is so monotone and yet so fitting for these explanation videos.

"The Prototype will save us." was the line from CatNap you are thinking of.

For Craftycorn’s cardboard cutout, there was actually one more line of dialogue after she says “give it here *scream*). She says something like “there, much better” implying that over time she went crazy, and she is killing people and using their blood to paint, and that scream wasn’t hers, but whoever she took that “red” from. Bobby Bearhug, Crafticorn and Picky Piggy are the most mysterious because they are the only ones who doesn’t end with a scream. While they could be dead, it’s also possible Bobby Bearhug is out there somewhere scared (some think that she might be an ally for the next chapter), Crafticorn is either still out there and is obviously a threat now, maybe killed by Picky Piggy since he talks about having flayed Unicorn (maybe they end up fighting, but she lives and he only gets part of her?), and Picky Piggy is either still out there, or maybe died from starvation. I’m hoping that all 3 are still alive but seeing how Catnap and Dogday looks (even though Dogday is a good guy), I’d bet they look equally terrifying 😭

the ARGs and even Chapter 2 pretty much foreshadowed it. During one of the interlude puzzles prior to the final mommy chase you see a crack in the wall that shows a SIZEABLE medical theater, like industrial scale. Between that and the marie payne entry it's pretty much spelled out in horrifying aspect. Chapter 3 just makes it intimately malicious, with the 1-way windows and red smoke. I think what I look forward to is the VAST extent of playtimeCo's compound. Remember, the project playtime maps are all canonically in the factory megacomplex, which has a lot of potential explanation, even if I think I've already figured that out.

For the Poppy element there are two reasons. The toy that was super popular that made the company famous was called Poppy and she helps the character throughout the game (though you don'tknow what her true goals are) and that the red smoke and the item that may be responsible for being able to make these toys come to life was made from the Poppy flower.

yep! the whole bigger bodies and living toys initiative was made possible via electrifying an opium/preservative solution. Opium is exceedingly addictive (Fentanyl is a modern derivative of it IIRC, for context) and is known for calming and use in medicine as a sleep aid decades ago. The thing is that while it can put you to sleep, side effects of exposure and overdose include VIVID and horrifying nightmares.

I can say that I never thought the game would have this much horror and side of things being creative at the latest with cute fluffy characters to make them scary is pure genius. 😄 Also this might be interesting to state that this game have some unique Voice Actors in this game with Elissa Lovelock who done Charlie’s Singing voice from Hazbin Hotel Pilot, Michael Kovach than next having Jacksepticeye a fellow KZreadr to voice in this game is nuts. So I can see why on Twitter/X there are artist drawing the “Critters” as original characters or making sonas based on this game.

Hearing 'audio log' makes me think of Bendy. I recommend looking at SHB's videos on the Poppy VHS tapes. I think the 3D Miss Delight resembling the cutout was used for the Hour of Joy footage. The scream in her jumpscare is scariest for me, too. But I will say the drum music during her chase is a serious bop. I recommend 99th VR's of it - no jumpscares and relatively quick. Of the Critters' cutouts, the video left out, the red bear, who goes from "i love you to the moon and back", to "I'm lost without you. I've been lost a long time. Please, take me with you this time. You won't leave me, will you?" She's the only without a scream ending, along with the pig. There's also a jack-in-the-box type monster called Boxy Boo in spinoff, called Project Playtime. He seems to be first successful experiment. CatNap in the tape said "THE PROTOTYPE WILL SAVE US", later he tells us, "LEAVE PLAYCARE, OR I'M COMING FOR YOU."

SuperHorrorBro mainly focused on Horror games is quite a chill dude.

The FNaF movie like the rest of the FNaF timelines is more crime drama than horror though. I'm not big on crime drama but I really liked the FNaF movie I'd give it an 8/10. Poppy Playtime will be a very interesting film regardless of the rating.

Chapter 3 is the best chapter so and the creatures are more disturbing. All the tapes in the third chapter puts everything into perspective and it all adds up.

Ok, so what I'm gathering here from looking some things up says on TV Tropes the following about the player if this is anything to go by: Ambiguously Evil: It’s all but confirmed that the protagonist was a high-ranking member responsible for the experiments on the orphans. It’s currently unknown the motive of the player to return, perhaps to either free the souls as a way to redeem themself or to keep their past buried. Chapter 3 seems to place them into being good, with them having a guilt-based hallucination if it is anything to consider. It's unknown whether they personally had a hand in the experimentation or just have Survivor's Guilt. This makes me think that we aren't playing as Rich a guy that also showed up in a VHS tape during each chapter. I'm thinking it is either Leith Pierre or Stella Greyber these are the three people that had a VHS tape one in each chapter. I'd really appreciate it if you could go into TV Tropes and do a reaction video reading everything on it or look up SuperHorrorBro's videos on Poppy Playtime and react to the rest of those when you get a few minutes.

You guys should react to CG5's song "Sleep Well" which goes a bit deeper into Poppy Playtime's lore! It's a music video and it should shed a bit more light :) also there are two versions: one is in CG5's channel and the other was published by Mob Entertainment's youtube channel.
