I wish Sudesh ji Rafi sahab jaisa bhi gaate is episode me, but i realised no one can be like Rafi sahab. The greatest playback singer of all time. Miss you rafi sahab. What an era indian film industry witnessed when they had Rafi sahab, Mukesh sahab, Manna Dey, Kishore kumar, mahendra kapoor, hemanta kumar, RD and SD burman sahab.

VC Shukla banned Kishore da...he was a minister in culture in Government of India...

Sanjay Gandhi son of Indira Gandhi called to Kishore Kumar to sing for a program.he refuses that that's why he was banned.and later rafi Sahab requested Indira Gandhi ji to lift the ban.she was a big fan of rafi sahab so she lifted that ban

Md. Rafi in this case didn't have the "aukaad" or responsibility to indulge between political leaders or Kishore Kumar. If you have any evidence of what you are trying to establish here, in the form of an authentic article published on such an era in print media that includes the date and verified by the journalist association of India or a video from any other archive such as Lehreh of DD, please tender it. Otherwise, as far as Kishore Kumar is concerned, it is better to keep your silence as a Rafi fan. Please.

I might not agree/gel with Mahatma Gandhi who is legendary to most of the Citizens living in India. I disagree with his political views and his doings in several matters. However, the point is respect is a personal thing that might vary according to the acceptance and rejection of one's sensibility, it's not math.
