I am 17 years old from India where poker is not very much played and frankly had no one to play with and still introducing my friends to this wonderful game I never expected to get hooked on this game this much but a huge thanks to Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme and the other vloggers who made this game look more realistic and gave me real insight into poker life . I started watching Brad Owen's vlog and then Andrew Neeme and then the WPT,PCA Tritton and many more poker tournaments I'm absolutely in love with Brad's vlog Neeme's vlog and most importantly this game Thank You So Much Brad Owen for all the vlogs and wish you nothing but success in the future.I started watching from around episode 70 and then almost watched almost all of them. I have to admit I got nostalgic watching the intro to this video...you were the first poker vlog I ever watched and I’ve seen pretty much every episode. I enjoy your style and demeanor. I just finished binging all 100 episodes, started just 3 weeks ago or so on July 25th so I kinda feel like I've been there from the beginning, and it's pretty cool it ended on this very special 100th mark!! :) I really like your style and special sarcastic humor, even though your poker is a bit on the tight side for my taste I still learned a lot, especially your bet sizings and the constant logic behind each bet. I'm glad you enjoy it yourself and glad you found a balance in the lifestyle. This next bit is maybe too personal as it's apparent that you share more than any other vlogger, but I don't get how you can really live when making 40k a year... I hope you can start feeling more comfortable in the bigger stakes and capitalize on your talent and patience. I'm going to be in Vegas soon in September after 5 years I haven't been, I'll keep track of the MUGs and hope we can meet in person maybe I can even get some Bradley dollars ;) Oh I also finally liked and subscribed as you so religiously ask 😏 Best of luck in any case!! Hey Brad, I just want to thank you for these videos. I've never played a cash game outside friends and family poker. A co-worker asked me a few weeks ago after seeing me have a YT poker video on my computer, who might I add turned me onto your videos, if I wanted to play. Unbeknownst to me, he's been playing a few years at a couple of places around here I didn't know existed, he used to be my boss a few years ago so he didn't have any tells. That week I got up to episode 31 before I went, which helped me tremendously! Anyhow, we met up after work on a Friday to ride together to the place that was about an hour away. Before he even picked me up, my heart was racing not knowing what to think. Well, it only got worse, when he explained to my about straddling, and a few other common things that go on at a cash table. I've played all kinds of poker, mainly Texas Hold'em the last 5-10 years, and I have played many poker apps that I built up money on. We got there and signed up for 1-2 no limit. I brought $160 with me to basically pay for my seat experience (to possibly lose), So I decided to only start with half of it in case I fall into a trap, goof, or get a bad beat and bust, and that would allow me to still play for a longer time and not have to wait on my ride to finish. Cards were falling my way, and after two back to back pocket king high flushes, my stacks were getting wide (because I did $25 stacks of $5) and after those hands or two I had pocket QQ. I've been good about being tight when I needed and pressuring other times. I don't remember what position I was in at the time, but once it got to me I raised to $40, and one of the regs at the opposite side of the table from me was taking his time trying to decide whether to call of not. I caught him staring at me and I didn't break eye contact and even gave a little "it's mine" smirk, and he looked away and folded he did. Most of the night was a blur, and it wasn't until midway through the night I actually counted how much I had, because I didn't want to jinx it, but at that point I was around $325. I did lose a little as time went on to about $225 mainly blinds and small bets to get beat on flop or turn. One guy told me going into the flop that he won $9k with this hand. This guy changed seats to come sit next to me since I had some stacks and tried to get into my head, or for me to show him a few of my hands when he wasn't in the hand, but I just told him "I'm good". Back to his hand that I lost to, I had high pair of jacks with 2 clubs on the flop, turn was another club, and river was Kc. He had 6c and 2c or 3c. He later left after getting no where. Later that night I had a few big hands and got to $380 before my nerves told me to cash out, but up until that point my heart was racing the whole time. My ex-boss was proud of me, and nervous at the same time with the way I was betting until seeing my hands. I never would have been able to get to that point without some of the lessons you have taught me on here. Thanks dude!! P.S. Sorry so long.
