    The table saw one too many bluffs for you to keep making them.

    Congrats on your son Henry! Now about the number of times you bet into people with a bad hand. You do it for the blog rounding out the session, but sometimes you must favor the wise choice to fold. K9 suited looked pretty good until the flop. Still, I love your thought process and commentary, keep up the great work.

    Brad Brad Brad, this is the most I've seen you bluff and the most I've seen you lose bluffing. It's a slippery slop, its good when it gets through but I feel you lose more in the long run. Especially when you get a reputation for bluffing.

    Curious why we don’t raise the AK on the river in the 3b pot where we just called. Obviously against villains specific hand class it wouldn’t have worked, but villain shouldn’t have sets or 2p for river sizing, plus you may get AK off a chop sometimes.

    Benton (his opponent in this hand) is kind of a nit. I’ve played 5/10 many times with him at the Bellagio. He was almost certainly shot-taking this game and definitely nitrolled Brad a bit here.

    Only halfway through the video, but have to say you telegraphed your hand so hard on that 10H8H flush you landed around 9:05. You bet so small after the flop and turn that, as an opponent, I’m definitely thinking you were chasing the flush draw. Obviously you’re the pro, not me, but had to be said.

    Brad do you ever worry that these videos could be analysed with AI to figure out your strategy and used by pro players to beat you?

  • @BradOwenPoker

    I make so many decisions in a session and really just highlight the fun or interesting ones. The truth is that people try to play like AI as much as possible already (Game-Theory Optimal (GTO)). You can beat anyone if you study enough.

  • @jtslev
    @jtslev46 минут бұрын

    Play more hands. Play tournaments, and cash, play online and live, play whenever and wherever you can. More hands equals more experience, more experience equals more game sense, more game sense equals better decisions, better decisions equals more profit. While you’re at it, read some books from successful pros that have a style that you like, and imitate them. Before you know it, you’ll be a winning player and feel confident enough to move up the stakes. God speed, and remember, luck and natural ability cannot compete with hard work and determination! Go get em!

    Please don't play J3 suited anymore, those kinda hands won't bring you profit as they are almost never nutted, that is in my humble opinion. Or was that GTO approved and am I simply a bigger fish than I think I am?
