Yes, I do think that Odd Grata was the one who saved Rost.

As you approach Nil at the final battle there’s an interesting conversation that takes place between the guards standing near by. They mention the daunt and cinnabar sands apparently Nil survived a great battle in the daunt. I think the tenakth fought the carja there in a great battle during the red raids.

Forgot alot of the dialogue from couple years ago lol and didn't realize it mentioned the Forbidden West this many times lol awesome vid . Gonna be replaying this again before going to Forbidden West. So damn hyped

Great video Elk! I really like the idea of Grata being the person who helped Rost, so I am adopting that as headcanon .

8:39 I interpret this as Aloy finding Elisabet's corpse at the end of the story. Alternatively, *FORBIDDEN WEST SPOILERS* I was reminded of this moment when Aloy recovers Beta during Cradle of Echoes.

So we have the frozen wilds, and forbidden west, but what about the wicked east, or the deadly south.

there is also the beyond denver stadium area, all of that area has corrupted machines, and you can swimg to the fardest buildings and find corrupted crocs still, with manglars, that makes me think they were planing it to be just a DLC like frozen wilds was with the banuk references

im replaying horizon zero dawn on new game plus before starting a new play through of horizon forbidden west on new game plus, thanks for this video! I had no idea so much of the forbidden west was seeded in the first game.

its possible brin actually saw the past in mistook elizibet for aloy

4:50 Hm, I guess Vanasha's mentioning of Forbidden West is just a sarcasm, she just scoffed at Sunfall. She was Itamen's maid and they weren't in the Forbidden West, they went to Sunfall only.

I’m about to finish forbidden west and I’m pretty disappointed it didn’t have a lot of the things mentioned in the first game. Spoiler no brin, no machine drinkers. And the forbidden west datapoint that got me rly exited to play forbidden west there wasn’t much from that data point that ended up in the forbidden west either. I rly hope they have dlc because there was a datapoint in the forbidden west that might have mentioned brin or at least another machine drinker. And also one from gildun who me met in the frozen wilds but we didn’t actually see them. Kind of a bummer

The DLC still isn’t out yet. He could have gone to LA (or wherever Burning Shores is set) but I thought I heard it was LA. Or maybe you just missed him. I completely missed him in Zero Dawn.

You can find a group of dead Oseram with a scroll that mentions they were drinking machine blood after meeting a strange Banuk. They are on the coast of the big lake that's on the south eastern part of the map.

Halfway through this game you go to a village with a bar. At the bar are two gentlemen from tribes not in this game not sure what tribe they are from,might be banuk not sure.
