I have been grinding for so long in the Daunt did all the side missions, upgraded most of my gear and now time to go to the forbidden west. I'm excited!!! This is the first thing I will do. Elden Ring has to be so good to beat this game to the game of the year award.

@@aryansmentallyunstable It’s a game for a niche like Starwars squadrons is undoubtedly very good a starship simulation but I didn’t like the game because I don’t like flying… most of the appeal has been how the open world aspect is about discovery and boss fighting instead of side quest say go to A and do B then come back which Horizon is definitely at fault…. Still this game is good personally I really like how Ghost of Tsushima handle open world and how they insured every side quest wasn’t intricate and was you just skipping dialogue to get the reward which is what I found my self doing alot…

@kaptain_vivi funny thing is, in my opinion, forbidden west was a complete miss, and elden ring is the clear goty might be because I'm playing on a ps4 tho. So the graphics actually look worse than zero dawn.

@@chief3796 I planned to take my time and thoroughly enjoy forbidden west, when Elden Ring came out, I wanted to take a look at the game play before going back to finish forbidden west. I haven't been back to forbidden west since. It's not that forbidden west is a miss but Elden Ring seems like it's on another different level entirely. Elden Ring NBA while forbidden west is basketball in Europe. Both are good but NBA is superb on comparison. If Elden Ring wasn't released this year, then forbidden west would have been the number 1

Nah, the shredder weapon is easily the best thing that was added, lots of fun to use. The glider is great for traversal don't get me wrong, however the late game mount (don't want to spoil it) is even better than a glider.

I have learned to always keep a fast travel pack or two in case my Aloy glitches inside a tree or a campfire or something.

I've already overwritten that tallneck but I will be going back to do this just because I can. Cool idea!

Great vid... the normal way to get on that tallneck is to clear out the area below and recharge and move the dish into a position that will allow you to jump on the tallneck...

Me as well. I approached The Stand from mountainside, and I actually didn't bother trying to see how I was "supposed" to get the Tallneck, I just found a spot and glided in.

I just flew pass this area in my game before I checked out the video

you could've just killed the machines, get the power cell, satellite will rotate, boom easy lol

I know it will be potentially game breaking but I hope we get to keep all machine overrides in New Game+. We don’t have to wait to finish each Cauldron to get their overrides back. Also, we better not be forced to craft the corrupted overrides all over again after completing their Cauldrons.

Why isn't there a trophy for this? Gamer Knowledge 101: If there is a mountain, tower or any other extremely tall structure and players have the ability to climb it, you can bet they will try to climb to the top.

How long do u think you actually spent trying to get on top of the hourus? N yes that was the most epic way to get ur first tallneck boss

Ngl the intended way was p cool tho you moved the satellite dish wasn’t bad

It took me several attempts and almost 30 minutes to reach the top. I always slip and the fall off the edge.

Climbing up a mountain or steep incline is way easier if you run and jump diagonally and go up the incline from side to side. The game thinks your standing on flat ground letting you stand without slipping.

Waited till flight of the ten mission before i started opening the rest of world with the sunwing want to finish everything before beatting the game instead of beating it then playing all the side content

Funnily enough - you normally should have visited the satelite dish, climb-puzzle yourself through it to get an energy cell and rotate it after shooting some cables and use that to climb the Tallneck. Your way is more cooler though ;) grats and thanks for sharing.

Nice job, now try doing the same thing on the Tallneck north of it, which was designed only for the flying mount :)

This game is so amazing but we are also getting god of war this year so winning game of the year won’t be easy

While this was fun, I got the whole game to complete lol I wouldn’t waste my time trying to climb that tall structure after falling over and over
