What I love about this game is the interaction with the environment and things. I wish some other game similar to this one.

this was Nihilistic Software/EA's version of marvel vs capcom meets mortal kombat. i love the dark aesthetic and style, the look and tone that this game had, it meshed perfectly to the story. the voice cast was surprisingly great being that they're not your typical trendy names but instead going with a lesser known voice cast (which is risky, but it damn sure paid off), some of them only did just this game and all of them was perfect. i didn't know about this game until i got older. these was one of many ps2 games that went under the radar and one of many regrets on games that i wish i had gotten back then. because i was one of those dumb kids getting suckered in on buying cash grab movie tie ins when I was a teenager. experimental games like this needs to be appreciated because look were at right now it's nothing but remakes reboots and rerelease this industry of is to scared to take risk, not just the gaming industry but the movie industry as well.

Just remembered this game outta the blue. Great game growing up

I liked Marvel Nemesis, but it doesn't offer much in-game content like how Marvel Ultimate Alliance does such as characters, costumes, moves/abilities, and multiplayer. Also, this should've been M-rated like the MAX Comics, it was brutal and brooding, but it was lacking the gore and grittiness.

It could have been better, but it was rushed in production cause EA has to be EA unfortunately. Fun Fact: The PSP version has Captain America and Dr.Doom but in sacrifice they remove Daredevil and Johnny Storm/Human Torch.

I loved this game, story was weak, characters were a mixed bag but man that gameplay was so much fun! A lot can be said for making a punch feel like it had weight behind it. Totally saved the game for me

TO THIS DAY! One of the best marvel games. They did not hold back, they showed the power of the characters. To see The Thing, Spiderman, and Daredevil beat someone to death was dope. To see Iron Man and Human Torch freaking disintegrate people was beautiful 🥲 what a time.

This was basically Marvel's take of doing their version of Mortal Kombat and i was absolutely down for it. I really hope one day this game gets an HD re-release cause this was a really underrated fighting game that i had a lot of fun playing.

This game was a masterpiece it had the def jam vibes far as fighting and intro/outros and mk vibes for the finshers cause they felt like marvel’s version of a fatality haha definitely needs a remaster

Wolverine’s finisher is the biggest example of “this game is rated T” of all time.

0:31 sometimes back then playing this i use to wonder...what if they wouldve found someone that looked like this wolverine🤔 but this was on some def jam type of timing for real

If only each character had multiple different finishers.
