You just gained a lot more respect from me for not allowing any sponsored advertising especially the part when you say *do not contact us* I always love to see and hear a non biased opinion! 👏👏👏👍👍👍

The two leftover pieces hold LR engineering departments pride from hitting rock bottom
Perfect way to celebrate Coronation weekend, with my favourite Land Rover show!
Morning Christian and Vera. This has been a great series of videos with lots of humour and informative content. Keep up the great work.
I see your toilet paper in the back there. You realise it fits perfectly in the cup holders! No wasted space Christian.
Hi guys, Those two plastic fixings hold the air ducting for the radiator to the front crossbrace on the body, just by the crashbar. Look where the air goes in and look straight up! Hope this helps
Did anyone else notice we don't have ads in the entire 25 minutes video....SOLID content....but put up a donation button or something...you deserve it....

Sunday mornings are made for LR Time.
Amazon should give you two a TV show....the equivalent of Top Gear for Land Rover owners.
I can't believe that JB weld, to repair the cracked engine crankshaft is holding. Enjoying your humour. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 🦘
Great video. Even better workmanship on the repair. It's very disappointing how poorly skilled the LR service centre was not recognising a major fuse.
I think Christian, and Vera, should be given top jobs at LR. Christian as a top design engineer, and Vera head of quality control.
Hi 👋🏻 Vera and Christian. That was the most satisfying ending to what was truly fantastic LR rebuild 👍🏻 What makes it even better is the humour and top quality banter between you both 😆 Cheers Stevie and as always big kiss for Vera 😘🏴

I invite you to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it is beautiful and it will be an enjoyable trip and an excellent experience
What you have done
Vera, Congratulations on the new to you LR4!!! beautiful colorful!!!
Excellent work! You and Vera are the most popular Do-it-yourself Land Rover owners! I think that LRJ should use your videos to help LR owners AND PAY you for the excellent service and common sense approach to the common-lack-of-sense LR design. You are the BEST! You make the impossible repair look like a walk in the park.
Nice, very nice 🙂 Great to see one saved and used, rather than scrapped.
Fantastic result. I can’t believe it is already finished and road tested. Kudos to you both!

I do not own a Land Rover , but I do own a Volvo XC90 D5 , 2019. I am not a mechanic but you got me curious on a newer Discovery. Really like your personalities and the way you both make these v-logs. I press the subbutton 😉 Grüße aus Malmö , Schweden.
Great series nice rebuild. Here in SA parts are expensive. For this brand. Wonder how much South Africans are watching.

Well done. It is an achievement to strip a car as far as you did and put it back together without any major hic ups. I look forwards to the disassembley and rebuild of Veras car!
Greetings all the way from SOUTH AFRICA. Those two plastic clips left over fit in the plastic shroud just above the impact bar and they hold the plastic shroud onto the radiator support from the bottom Thats a front bumper off job. Great video as always and i always have a 400 amp in my tool box

Fantastic rebuild guys. A lot of hard work. Very satisfying for you both 👌
You two work so well together, love the humor. Great job rebuilding that engine, beautiful car too, really, and I'm glad you own it!! (Never did a job like that...used to, when I had Land Rovers. But yes, I now do own a couple of Land Cruisers for the last 24 years. Always have a can of something to drink in one of my hands 😊 ) Hope you have a great trip.
I just love you two, what a double act, I myself I’m not a petrol-head and only watch because of you both (EV owner + my wife has a, wait for it a Toyota Rav 4 hybrid) Just please, please keep your very funny videos coming and not forgetting Christian your wonderful engineering skills, I thank you 👍
Dear a Christian and Vera, just love the banter guys. Surely you have realised Land Rover well enough by now but the grand plan is to create super enthusiasts like you who keep all of us armchair LR enthusiast’s totally entertained. Please don’t stop!!
You’ll be travelling in style now Vera the both of you have done a fantastic job on this car
It’s called a Megafuse. Good luck on the trip.
Great video once again .....Sundays are always exiting now I have found LR time .very envious of your garage machine shop set up
Proclip Usa makes a great phone mount for a perfect location in my opinion
Great finish to this particular rebuild series. Great to see the car running perfectly 💪 Looks good with the RTT ….. for a D4😉
Ahhh yessss in this video I feel me more confident compared to yesterday’s video I watched about the rebuilt…why ? Because you change a fuse and vaccum the disco, you’re so human finally 😅
I'm surprised that the D4 doesn't come with DAB+ ... but I think you can change the DAB module for a DAB+ from an Evoque (that is a regular swap on Jaguar). Great morning video and great work as usual .. with the OMG rate returning to normal level 😁

Yes, I too was somewhat surprised at that. Thankfully, my 2015 HSE Lux does. I will be looking to retrofit DAB to my Disco 3 though.
Excellent video as usual guys, nothing wrong with having 3 Discovery’s 👍🏻
I've been to Jordan. Very cool trip. Petra, dead sea, friendly people..
Excellent, the discovery is looking great. The RTT looks very good sat low like that too. I bet the previous owner would love to have it back but I think you'd be crazy to let this one go. Maybe refurbish Vera's D3 and then hold a raffle and sell it off 😮😊 either way that is a great line up of very well maintained LRs👍😎see you next week 🤣
The two leftover parts are the offerings to the goddess of land rover bucket of excess parts.
You guys are legends well done,,please come to the UK and service my discovery 4
Perfect job and beautiful car Vera und Christian . Best regards from Amman Jordan

I think your plans should include a TD5 Disco 2. Plenty videos to be made on leaks 👍👍
This had to have been a very satisfying project! I suggest that you keep all three so you have a spare.
You got it all wrong. Land Rovers are such good cars that they never needed the part - it´s a proof of quality :D
That fuse is obviously something that never normally blows! Excellent series of videos and very technical.
Beautiful job, looking forward to seeing the D3 renovation. Thankyou for such entertaining and informative videos.
Guys!!! You are awesome!! 😁😎 and your videos too!! 👍
The little gadget install is brilliant and very well done. Smiley, happy people having fun......Bravo.
Great looking yard.... with 3 x DISCO ❤
Great end to the rebuild project, I wish you both the best of luck with the car for the future, and I hope we get some content of its future trips 👍🏻
It's so much fun watching you at work in these great videos. Surely it's a ton of work making them. Thank you!
Never a dull video you are a legend a brilliant mechanic
Loved the rebuild, some excellent information and a joy to watch each stage
You can never have too many Land Rovers!
So funny imagining Netflix, Amazon etc trying to create something as enjoyable to watch multiple episodes of as this!
Christian / Vera this series has been great, a really engaging watch. If ever I move next door to you in Germany I will by a Land Rover and you can look after it😂
Nicely done. There was a defender on marketplace in Australia for $220,000 AUD. Nearly fell off my chair.
Brilliant series of videos. Keep up the great work.
Looking forward to you working on the D3. You two are going to be the foremost authority in Germany when it comes to taking the D3 / D4 to pieces (not to mention that V6 Ford / PSA engine)! It will be very interesting to see the condition of your D3 engine after 260 - 270,000 klicks.

If you mix the used engine oil with some diesel you can use it to paint any wooden outdoor structure including fence panels.

Not if you own three Land Rovers👍😅Our fence is almost falling apart because we don‘t spent any proper time maintaining our house and property.🙋♀️
Cant deny that these look fantastic both inside and out even if they do get a bad reputation, it's the ideal vehicle for long journeys and using it to sleep in over night not many vehicles can do this as good as the Land Rover for overlanding
Fantastic great to see the Land Rover finished what a car 👍👏

Great series on the LR4 and the install of the LR3 gear on it. I am looking forward to the LR3 engine work - I have an LR3 TDV6 and am keen to see the differences with removing the body (if any) and the engine internals if you go that far.

It was off in about 4 hours. You have much less parts to take off. On a Disco 4, you have to take off the entire coolant hose system. Which you hardly even touch on the Disco 3. The whole purpose for the body-off is of course the engine rebuild. So we are all eager to see how that one looks. 👍🙋♀️Vera

@@Vera_and_Christian There is a whole fan base of LR3 people who are very keen indeed. Thank you for the response Christian, I appreciate it, and the effort you and Vera do to make and publish these videos. On top of this is the extra things you do for your patreons. It must all be exhausting at times!!
Only thing dumbass on this channel is the 5w 30 oil ! Amazing couple !! Well done guys
She's a thing of beauty! well done you two! if i drop mine off at your place can you work your magic on her :)
After all this work you both did with that Disco4, i would keep it as well. Great series, hope the car will serve You many many miles!
Fantastic professional as usual, loving your videos
My wife only watches true crime, quilting how-tos and LR time. She says if quilters made quilts like you repair LRs, thwy would beaster pieces.
With your mechanic skills you should transplant a TDV8 4.4 engine from the L322 into a disco! would be the ultimate combo :)
The news about Africa expedition is thrillingly wild! I can't wait to see if the Disco 4 holds up on the Africas roads! If you manage to complete the expedition in Africa successfully and the car in one piece without being stuck in the desert for days I swear I will give up buying a Toyota for overlanding forever😅

😅👍I am not sure if Christian did not put it in the final edited video, I thought he did. But we will definitely take our Discovery 3 to Africa when we eventually go. I do not want to be with a push button start Land Rover, or Toyota for that matter, in Africa. I can imagine what happens when a grain of sand gets stuck in the transmission push button of the 8HP shifter. Locking it up and preventing it from emerging. 😅👍I do however have the greatest respect for those who venture out in their Discovery 4. 🙋♀️
I also have a cousin who is a Reconstructive ex Professor of plastic surgery in South Africa who has several Landrovers under reconstruction. He does cosmetic surgery to pay the bills for a living and his true passion finds him in his garage with his Landies!!
