It is impossible to describe how lucky Bdubs was. Yes, the task on the dragon after the task on the portal for Gem is quite prescribed, but who would have thought that she would not give up on it, but would decide for fun to raise an army for the sake of killing a dragon? And that the only people will be Impulse, who could not kill mobs in this session, and his task buttler, who behaved carelessly at the beginning of the battle and therefore could not come up to finish off!

I love how Ethos task got reversed. Instead of convincing other people of something that happened in a past season, they’re gaslighting him into thinking he’s doing the memes correctly

Lmao, tango needing to be involved in a conversation with mumbo, while mumbo wants to avoid all possible 1 on 1 conversations is a great combo

scar accidentally putting on a helmet and not being able to take it off because he had to do the opposite of what everyone tells him to do, and everyone was constantly telling him to take it off, was everything for me

Grian's task has had me in stitches twice this week, once in the og vid and once again now, I can't breath. The "why would you do this" gets me every time, he made it sound so genuine 😭

Well it could mean once, or never. It just means that it’s based on a duration (which should be assumed to be the entire session if not specified), but if no one got hurt in front of Bigby for the entire session that would technically be task completed.

Yeah but there was so no specification it didn't specify the whole session or for 30 minutes or 5 times, so theoretically he has the room to interpret the limit as much as he wants, he did it twice so going very literally off of the book, he did compliment two people after they took damage so that does fall into "whenever" lmao

The funny part is when jimmy tries to guess his task is to copy someones meme, in Etho's understanding of the task, that would have been a success. Since he thought his task was to convince someone his task is to copy a meme from an older series.

There were a LOT of dominoes falling into place for BDubs this session. He got insanely lucky with this one. I think he could have killed the dragon on his own if he really tried, but the fact he managed to get help with what was ultimately the random whims of another player was incredibly fortuitous. BigB's seemed like the kind you do for the whole session, and Etho misinterpreted Martyn's suggestion, so I feel like both are going to have to reroll next time. Etho's is iffy lol

I don’t think he would’ve gotten the task done if Gem didn’t gather an army for the dragon. And it just happened to be what he needed.

Love all the perfect connections that were made in this session. We had Bdubs planting the seeds of an End raid in Gem's mind, then ending up there with Impulse, the person who couldn't kill anything, and Pearl, who was low on health, meaning that he could claim the kill. Then there's Etho, who needed someone else to come up with a task for him, meeting up with Martyn, who needed to come up with a fake task for someone else. And then there were combinations which specifically made tasks harder, like Mumbo being afraid of one-on-one conversations while Tango had to follow him around and mimic him.

There's something super wholesome with Etho doing those Aha jokes

I really wish the tasks were a LITTLE more balanced lol gems was basically impossible while cleo and grians were outrageously easy

that's what you get with viewer suggested tasks I feel, but they definitely could have pulled them together closer in difficulty. that said I do think cleo's would have been kinda challenging had they been on a server with less friendly people cause any person she did this to really only needed to sprint for the nearest yellow to get her disqualified

I reallly liked Grians for a basic task. Simple and fun, but still requires strategy and deception. A model task.

As others have said, thank you for not only including their task reveal but also the journey to either succeed or fail it. I much prefer this rather than the compilations of just only the task revails and that's it.

Tango forcing him self with conversation with mumbo and mimic him (the same person that cant have 1 on 1 convos) is a funny combination

Grian's singing and then victory sounds are somehow extremely satisfying to listen to.

Yeah Cleo’s task was way too easy. The idea is fun though, I think a harder version of it would have worked nicely. Like maybe having to get everyone on the server to read the book instead of just one person. Still pretty easy, but would take more than five seconds lol.

I think Cleo actually FAILED. yes, bdubs read the book, however he read it out loud, before tango started to read it, meaning that Cleo exposed her task

Even though etho may not have quite done what Martyn said, he still did a funny little task

Tango got so unlucky with rolling mumbo for that task, that man couldn't stand still if his life depended on it

Scar’s task was so horrid that we might end up with another Watcher-hater before long. He made an enemy of Lizzie, he irked the other yellows and some greens. Man, Grian needs to revamp the Watcher lore to clarify things.

I think the point of Cleos challenge was to leave it alone in someones base and wait for them to read it. However the rules don't rule out you putting it in front of someone else and just telling them to read it.

I think the person who wrote it forgot about lecterns and were expecting you to leave it in a chest. Then people would see the item name and probably be more apprehensive about opening it.

Tango’s task was my favorite because he did it in front of the yellows and no one noticed him. Skizz was my favorite fail. Gem couldn’t stop laughing. Also BDubs cracked me up when he said “Pink Slips!”

I have to say- i have been loving seeing Etho's tasks 😆. So out of character of him and been loving it

When I was watching Grian's video I remember thinking about the "My world's on fire how about yours" from Joel and being like "wow that's so weird that's from all star"

Even if scar had not failed he wouldnt be able to press the pass button because mumbo told him to press it. 😅

Just realised that bdubs was unmuted when he read his task out 1:53 if anyone was watching it would have been an instant fail XD

As of episode 4, more people than I could expect misunderstood their tasks. And they're all more fluent in English than I am! Mama mia

1:50: BDubs reaction to his task was almost as funny as his threatening us last week. Lol!

Its funny that Bdubs pitch to Etho ended up being a great idea and going exactly the way he predicted lol. The 3 who killed the dragon are in very good positions now, that actually was a very good idea. They have a HUGE amount of xp. Pearl has 50 some levels! That basically guarantees at least one piece of proc 4 armour, and a good chance of getting it on all 3 pieces.

I'm loving the fact you've been compiling everyone's tasks and POVs and actually been showing them completing them! It's very well made and I look forward to if you decide to continue and do each session :D!!

Smajor got the easiest instance of a hard task possible. Love that for them

I was getting like old scott vibes from this session he was super sweet and not that chaotic

I really appreciate you putting this together, and I enjoyed watching. I would be very happy to keep watching for the rest of the season with everything exactly as it is. But you asked for suggestions for improvement in the description, so here are a couple nitpicks: It would be cool if you put relevant tasks next to each other, like Tango with Mumbo and Lizzie with Scott. And it would be cool if the bit rate on the screen recorder was higher. Your work is great though, and I won't be upset if you don't change these things!

I probably should have put those together this week for sure since they were so connected, but sometimes I try to keep them apart so you aren’t watching the same interactions back to back. I’m also going to look into the bitrate, I’m uploading in 1080 but somehow it’s still coming out low quality even though it looks much better in adobe. It is also a clip compilation so I’ve kind of accepted that if I can’t get the quality to improve that’s okay, we can all just watch the actual episodes lol. Thanks again!!

@@molecoid I don't know much about video editing, but maybe try raising the bit rate of the video when you export from Adobe? You're right though, that it makes sense to have the clips be lower quality to encourage people to watch the original.

Cleo failed. She never "left" the book in someones base, Bdubs, the first to read wasn't in his base while reading it, and Mumbo and Grian wheren't even in any base when she showed them.

Wait one second hear me out, if skizz told impulse to not make anyone damage him and impulse told Scar to give the heart to skizz but scar had to do the opposite. So Scar damaging skizz was technically because of impulse. So does that mean impulse now owes Skizz his heart for the whole season?
