1K dissatisfied with all the mayors.

for me this game is equal to masterpieces like bioshock, dishonored, skyrim, a many other pillars of the art of videogames. One of the best game ever

Damn, I thought I'd seen enough variations of the endings (18 of them, to be exact), but I never heard Alcatraz's voiceover in Momentum Deferred, since what I didn't do was pick things like "we must destroy or shutdown the Megastructure" earlier in the game. Also, when I got Mayor Hermanubis in Certain Fathoms in the Earth, he gave a completely different speech to the one you showed here at 3:02. I distinctly remember him saying that 1k made the choice under my direction, the responsibility is solely mine, and I will NOT apologize. I'm guessing that the one I got was the result of my 1k being generally supportive of technological advances, steering public opinion in that direction earlier in the game; hence Herman felt the need to ease anger among the public and clear 1k of potential backlash. On the contrary, if 1k steered public opinion in the opposite direction, then it would make sense for Herman to proudly announce what 1k did and hail it as a historic occasion.

Oh wow, that is interesting about Herman's speech! When I did a generally pro-progress run through, I never managed to get Herman elected. It was always Byron, even if I agreed with Herman in the end. Hmmm.... Another playthrough may be in order just to see if I can get a different speech.... What a hardship!!! (Joking!)

@@TarasSkyJourney Yeah it is rather mind-blowing how every little variation creates subtle changes to the end sequence of events. I was following the Steam guide titled "The Talos Principle 2 - 100% Achievements" hoping to see all alternative endings. By following its recommended social media choices in my second playthrough, I mostly ended up with similar choices to what I made in my first playthrough (pro-progress), but there were enough differences that all 3 mayoral outcomes were possible if certain choices were flipped. This also meant that I never got to do a full-blown anti-progress run, thinking it didn't matter. It was too late when I realized that every choice mattered actually; even dialogue choices with expedition team members create huge differences in the end, e.g. whether Byron or Al leads the final expedition, whether Yaqut or Melville will join in, etc. But by then I no longer had enough steam to start over a third time, lol. Good luck with your next playthrough, dude! Also, I totally agree that despite differences, Herman earned my respect when he spoke candidly. Even more so when he made the speech to cover 1k's ass when the latter unexpectedly flipped, destroyed the Machine, and handed him an easy victory.

This is great! I finished the game with the best ending (last one) I feel. But couldn't find all the stars. Is there anything they do or change?

There's nothing really that collecting all the stars does. You do get a bonus scene that makes at least one resident of New Jerusalem feel validated, though. It's cute, but....not entirely necessary....at least....not yet maybe?

Do we have any idea what causes the purple robots to appear in Leap of Faith? I got them but not sure what causes them. Same with the grass growing at 1k’s feet

The grass growing happens every time you choose Leap of Faith, doesn't it? As for the purple robots, someone somewhere mentioned it seems to have something to do with your "standing" in the socials, and maybe that's true. I didn't get them on my Mayor Rand playthrough when I did NO socials whatsoever. I have NOT gotten them on a Byron playthrough, so it's not like you get them every time he becomes mayor. So, maybe it's the more active you are on the social network? It has nothing to do with who is Mayor. I am pretty sure. (I have gotten the purple ghosts when Herman became Mayor, and Byron. I've also NOT gotten them with both....)

Ah, sorry, KZread filtered this comment out. That is so interesting! I've never seen no grass myself. I almost feel like that muat have been a bug in that person's game, or specific to what platform he was on? Something unintended. But I don't know for sure! Thanks for pointing it out!

For the grasses, could getting all the golden stars be a flag for the scene? As for the ghosts, initially the 4 companion I wonder if it has anything to do with much you've interact with your teammates as well as the citizen in new Jerusalem, and possibly the interactions on social media?

How do you get the mayor scenes? How do you get the Trevor ending? I did all the golden puzzles, saved Miranda, chose “truth” and got the last ending with Miranda being asked in a date (and pelligrino being successful). There seems to be so many variables

Trevor scene: Don't skip the credits (Leap of Faith will give you Trevor after the credits, but you can't skip them). Mayor scenes: Choose "It's too dangerous, shut it down" after waking Athena at the end. If you look at the text on the video, I tell how I got each.

Do you still play sky the aviary doesn't feel the same anymore
