I quit playing Sky: Children of the Light in October 2021. This channel is no longer updated with new Sky content, but much of the content here is still applicable to the current game.
Prior to quitting, I had been playing Sky since March of 2018, starting out in the beta version. I've seen a LOT of changes. I have been creating Sky content on KZread since the beta, and I created the Sky Wiki in the summer of 2018. WIth the Global Release of Sky: Children of the Light in summer of 2019, I started live-streaming Sky in order to help other players.

Despite having the new Aviary Village in the new version, the beta Aviary had its charms; I love how you could just fly off into those massive gates/portals or into those rolling clouds instead of just walking through them like current versions

What happens if you didn’t find all the spirits before doing Eden? I tried to go back and find them but they only have the spirits I already found.

Damn, I thought I'd seen enough variations of the endings (18 of them, to be exact), but I never heard Alcatraz's voiceover in Momentum Deferred, since what I didn't do was pick things like "we must destroy or shutdown the Megastructure" earlier in the game. Also, when I got Mayor Hermanubis in Certain Fathoms in the Earth, he gave a completely different speech to the one you showed here at 3:02. I distinctly remember him saying that 1k made the choice under my direction, the responsibility is solely mine, and I will NOT apologize. I'm guessing that the one I got was the result of my 1k being generally supportive of technological advances, steering public opinion in that direction earlier in the game; hence Herman felt the need to ease anger among the public and clear 1k of potential backlash. On the contrary, if 1k steered public opinion in the opposite direction, then it would make sense for Herman to proudly announce what 1k did and hail it as a historic occasion.
Oh wow, that is interesting about Herman's speech! When I did a generally pro-progress run through, I never managed to get Herman elected. It was always Byron, even if I agreed with Herman in the end. Hmmm.... Another playthrough may be in order just to see if I can get a different speech.... What a hardship!!! (Joking!)
@@TarasSkyJourney Yeah it is rather mind-blowing how every little variation creates subtle changes to the end sequence of events. I was following the Steam guide titled "The Talos Principle 2 - 100% Achievements" hoping to see all alternative endings. By following its recommended social media choices in my second playthrough, I mostly ended up with similar choices to what I made in my first playthrough (pro-progress), but there were enough differences that all 3 mayoral outcomes were possible if certain choices were flipped. This also meant that I never got to do a full-blown anti-progress run, thinking it didn't matter. It was too late when I realized that every choice mattered actually; even dialogue choices with expedition team members create huge differences in the end, e.g. whether Byron or Al leads the final expedition, whether Yaqut or Melville will join in, etc. But by then I no longer had enough steam to start over a third time, lol. Good luck with your next playthrough, dude! Also, I totally agree that despite differences, Herman earned my respect when he spoke candidly. Even more so when he made the speech to cover 1k's ass when the latter unexpectedly flipped, destroyed the Machine, and handed him an easy victory.
I'm playing through the season quests right now, and let me tell you: I told all my friends when I started that I would die for the Little Prince: I had no idea that I would actually have to...but ah, so bittersweet. I loved this season with all my heart. And I still love the prince.
They just added this to PC for Steam. If I did not find your videos I would have stopped playing. Thank you for all your help! I love the game now...well minus some of the flying. That I still dislike.

I just finished eden for the first time, yayy, I'm glad I can do this all alone now. I've been playing for a month and have gone to eden twice, the first time I just go in there having absolutely no idea about it and was barely surviving until a stranger came and held my hand to the end (thank youuuu so muchhhh). Now that I've watched tutorials and calculate my moves, I can go there by myself and willing to help others
I was being so smug till the second quest cuz I didn't have friends, but then I remembered my brother used to have an account so I downloaded it in his phone and then did the quest alone like this but then the dude just goes bring 2 friends.
Does anyone know if there is the full version for the Quest OST in Season of Dreams? If there is, what is it called? (I have been searching for it for a year lol, also I'm looking for the OST that was used in Quest 2 and 3)

Whoever decided there needs to be escort quests with these dragons around needs a slap. Their line of sight is buggy, and avoiding them is a gamble. The i gave up trying to do these as even when breaking sight, they just get you through a wall.

I'm @ 4:41 of the video btw- I'm pretty new to the game and I'm not sure if this video is accurate as of right now. I just downloaded the Steam version of the game. But is this pretty much like rebirthing in a game and then you can get so-called "points" after doing so and unlock things with those "points"? And once you rebirth does the game completely reset? Like is it pretty much like doing the game over again? Will I need to find everything again (elders, light, etc) and unlock everything I had previously unlocked (realms, etc)? Or is this just to get those "points" to unlock other things?
