Bonus Notes: The Kaineng strike offers a lot of different ways to do it. You can kill the bosses in many different orders, I simply posted what I found to be smoothest. Harvest temple orb pushing/killing. On "phase 10" when you need to kill the orb that pushes around, the easiest method we found was group 1 on one side of it, group 2 on the other. Keep healing and push whenever the orb is coming to you, stop pushing when its moving away.

You can jump over the dragon slash the 3rd boss does during the mechanic where everyone has the circles underneath them. It is better to jump than to dodge because you and someone else might dodge into each other just as the circles explode.

@@MuklukKZread Yeah, the only reason I even thought to try it was because you could jump over the dragon slash in PVP during the beta (don't know if you still can or not) - and it worked! Time your jump when the circle beneath you is half way full.

The zhaitan orb tends to like to leave behind invisible death puddles in the middle of the arena when you break it. Avoid the middle at all costs when running toward mordy. I've seen so many people die to this at this point.

Phase 12 is when the boss resets and goes to the meta event instead.

Did Kaineng Overlook for the first time today, in someone else's group. I ended up taking over commanding and doing call-outs thanks to this video. It took us a few tries but we GOT IT and it was an amazing moment! Never felt so proud of complete strangers and myself. It was all thanks to this video

These GTTP videos are a real gold mine. I just sat through 30 minutes of waiting and explanations of KO normal while in a training group. The 2-minute clip here could have saved us so much time. That is really the only pre-ample that should be required, a quick 2 min video. Then play it, cause there is no better teacher than experience.

Yeah sounds exactly how I feel about the strikes. Nothing crazy yet except for the length of Harvest Temple.

This will prob get lost but I wanted to come back to this and say thank you so much for your guides, I have really bad ADHD and can never parse/remember instructions for big fights when my raid/guild leader is trying to explain them. The way you go quickly, explain and show exactly what I actually need to worry about, finally made the harder endgame content accessible for me without my friends having to drag my ass through it over and over. The harvest temple is wild. I love it.

Harvest Temple last ball phase: small orbs are projectile, use reflect (or other projectile defence), not necessary, but helps a lot. (Also stability recommended for the later part of this strike mission.)

Harvest Temple was the very first eod strike i did without knowing how much of a step up it would be... Needless to say the other 3 were cakewalks

During zhaitan phase, you can pull the giants to the opposite side of the platform allowing an easier time dealing with them because zhaitan's attacks will not reach.

During the clear we ran to the opposite side during zhaitan phase, to get out of his attacks and the giants began to move towards us. No pulls or anything.

Indeed they are all easy except ht, but really understanding the ball pushing phases and the mordremoth phase with the 3 shockwave boops are the only hard/squad wiping parts. Otherwise making sure groups have all the boons greatly increases clear time to an already long fight, and more damage means less time dealing with mechanics.

@Wayne Gouin do you even strike? It's not very hard to have a dps, and a crucial role or two. Even with just exotic gear. I led my guild through them last week and we one shot everything with first timers except ht. One even has a yellow (rare) weapon still. People who are running them daily don't want to waste time on wipes. Do you?

I never did HT and i never saw this part of your video cause i wanted to suprise myself. And hell did i suprise myself!! Little Fun fact: DHUUM in challenge mode have 40 millions HP. In the harvest temple, the party actually inflict 59 Million damages trough all the phases. This is why that strike takes so LONG to complete. Seriously. That strike is marathon.

1 year old and still so usefull. Found myself as a commander for a full group of new to Kaineng Overlook, we did it freaking first try

Small, very technical note on Ankka. While it is true that her vacuum circles are the highest potential damage and can down you extremely quickly if you somehow unbound your W key, the most damaging ability she does outside of mechanics is her "Embalming Barrage" (i think that's her little backflip then fan the hammer ability). This accounted for 44% of all of her outgoing damage when my group did it last night. Note for Zhaitan: I recommend going back to where you spawned into the strike and drawing the giants over and killing them there so you do not need to navigate around zhaitan's abilities. It is not much of a time loss and it is very safe.

I love how "boop" has become a recognized game mechanic.

The pushing-killing the orb is the most annoying phase. some auto attacks strike more than others so everyone needs to pay attention to where it's going. I really like the momentum mechanic they added to the orb phases

Strike missions are exactly what I wanted for this game. It's very similar to FFXIV Trials.

Joined a group that attempted all EOD strikes a few days ago, managed to clear all but harvest temple. Honestly would have kept trying but I had to dip for dinner, it's definitely time consuming and sweaty but I love the challenge, was good fun. (Good to know we got to the last phase at least twice)

the number attacks on kaineng scale by targets hit, so as long as only the numbers are each hit individually they do almost no damage, the going full range for the number mechanic works but it means those players do 0 damage for that time while if they just stay melee and spread a bit they can still hit the boss, the same goes for the mech number mechanic so can keep the mech in middle the whole time.

You can block the projectiles in the Black orb Phase with firebrand book 3, 3 ore Semilar skills.

Edit: That last strike is a strike? what? Basically a raid boss strike. And to make enough prophet shards you have to due each of these twice a week? lol

Yeah, I've done the last strike with pug groups a few times where were new, and they hopped on voice and I explained each phase as we got to it and we one shot the boss both times. Theres only 1 mechanic going on at any given time for most of the fight, but with ELEVEN phases, its a lot of info to try and cram into people before the fight starts.

They are adding a new way to obtain the siege turtle this coming Tuesday. I want to wait until that is available in game so it can also be in the video.

We also completed Harvest with just 4 people at the end. Was a fun fight. Challenging but not throw my computer out of the window kind of challenging

For KO strike, numbers phase people can opt for corners instead of just any wall. Unless you hate this one guy, and tell him to stand by the zipline.

Day 35: We are still in phase 756. There's no more food...no more water. I hear screams at night...perhaps I'm just hallucinating.

That last strike mission...sweet Jesus.

For the sniper and the mech phase it is Super important they are DPS down equally if they get more then 20% difference in HP they start to have a damaging aura that Stacks targeting one of them will stack it super fast and in pub groups with low healing it will down people.

I am pretty sure it will be a CM death mechanic. Actually, a lot of small mechanics we ignore on these can be made very tough on CMs.

I agree, focusing just one of the two caused massive attacks that frequently downed and killed people as I imagine it will in pugs as well. We prefer to balance the two, may be a bit slower but a lot less hectic.

Do you guys now, what settings should I change to see the "sage zones" on first boss? I cant see the zones on the ground on sniper phase :C

04:19 why don't I see this yellow border around my screen when I have this mechanic on me? is there some setting that blocks it?

3:59 it should be noted they both get damage buffs when the health equalizes, so it might be a good idea to just attack both.

also, this doesnt happen periodicly, it happens when their health differs by more than 20% of their max health.

Since you can turn the green shards you get into coins or clovers, and I also found them very fun/engaging, yeah I'm in the "do it more than once" fanbase. I think I've done them 3-4 times each this week.

It damages the orb but I do not believe it pushes it when it is ticking.

We finally got a proper Zhaitan fight lmao

i have a funny feeling the anka Running away is like Pretend YOur a Horror Movie Villain and anka is Your victim as in THe horror movie villain is basically walking while Anka is basically Stubling around Trying But failing to run away

My only commend would be that at the Kaineng strike you should watch out for the Sniper shot. One shot with a random player as target and a red circel around him wich does a lot of damage to every one inside it, wehre the player should get out of group. You have to look at the sniper to dodge the big green shot that will fly towards you. but thanks for the rest nice video.

Each daily has a boss coffer, and each boss has a coffer for being beaten once per week, and each strike also has a loot chest that you can open once per day

My personal advice for harvest temple is having a therapist ready to get back to reality.

Yep, the story is meant to give you an introduction to the bosses, then the strikes, then CM strikes later, each level adding more.

Harvest temple: I think I'll just die and manage my inventory instead. :p Just kidding, But I'll probably skip it for a while. Nice guide tho.

I don't understand the giants. I honestly can't tell when they will slam and knock you down.

I believe thats when they raise their foot and stomp, when they lean over and spit its the death puddles. I usually tell my groups to back away and kill them with range, its slower but safe.

dam.. GW2 mechanics are cool as hell.. better than FFXIV and easier to understand
