Thats one thing I liked about Kirby. People say the games are too easy but honestly the games are designed to be as difficult as you want them to be. Wanna fight the True Arena, that's your call. Wanna plow through the game with your favorite power, that's your call. Wanna play the game using NO powers and only inhaling and spitting, that's your call and totally doable. It lets you play how you want to play it while not having to compromise. That's really good fucking game design right there.

The True Arena in Triple Deluxe is piss easy if you use one of the broken powers like Archer. The Camouflage attack blocks every attack making it a joke.

Yeah the music is pretty cool but queen sectonia's music is like dubstep, medieval music and rock and roll music mashed up ( and i mean her first form)

Great job on beating all those bosses

i beat with True Arena with bomb, took me 78 tries (yes, 78, i counted/wrote down) and i finally beat it, lost bomb just b4 sectonia S.'s 2nd phase began. I still think its a overwhelming achievement.;/

I still can't get over this Masked Dedede Remix featured. SO GOOD.

I beat this yesterday because I haven't touched triple deluxe after I beat the story, dedede mode and not beating the true arena. It took me over 30 attempts! A long time ago I beat soul of sectonia and I thought I won it but I didn't think there was a secret form only in the The True Arena so when I saw it, it was over so I took another attempt after 2 months. When I beat the final form of Soul of Sectonia Kirby had a SLIVER of Health but with one last strike of Hammer. I was excited I won. Man, the True Arena is so different from the original Arena because when I beat Arena, it was in one attempt.

Lol same here. I thought I beat SoS and then the secret boss fight started i was like wtf!!! That was about 1-2 weeks ago now yesterday I finally beat it and also ur right about how the true arena is so much harder and I beat the arena on my first try too

DNN Webber it gets much harder at around Shadow Dedede, Queen Sectonia Dx is easy when you learn her pattern of Attacks. Shadow Dedede his kinda hard but if he was like the Masked Dedede fight with two phases he would be extremely hard. Dark Meta Knight has a lot of attacks which makes him very annoying along with his guarding your attacks.

Kmml1972 yes it was REALLY hard at first, but now, I can do it without much of a problem except for screwing up at the last minute on the final boss (not the secret one). I've pretty much memorized all of the bosses' attacks and when they do them. Now all I gotta do is get through the entire thing without losing my ability..... Btw, what's ur best time? Mine is 14:35.35

Wow, I can barely handle Dark Meta Knight due to his moves being so all over the place, I barley can get to soul of Sectonia. This just makes me believe that this is the hardest True Arena. This makes the ones on Super Star Ultra & Return to Dreamland like a cake walk, and they had Galacta Knight!

Jeez modern Kirby games lay it on thick with the invincibility frames. Seriously why are so many moves invincible?! It makes abilities like Hammer and Fighter pretty broken against the majority of bosses when you can pass right through their attacks. Of course that doesn't always work in the DX mode but it makes the normal campaign a complete joke.

....so what? Those bosses (who are from a different game than this one mind you) are a very small part of the game. You still have access to all these abilities with insane amounts of invincibility frames. You can plow through enemies, hazards, and bosses with hardly a second thought. In older Kirby games the only abilities that consistently had invincibility were Tornado, Wheel, and High-Jump. Recently though every single ability has an invincible attack that can be spammed to avoid damage.

LOL oh my I've gotten to the later part of the video and man is it intense. You have quite the close calls! Hahaha

Yeah it's looks like that will be the case. I think no power runs can make certain bosses harder than others and easier. I think that spitting out stars still has advantage of doing a lot of damage.

The battles against Sectonia were how I imagined the battle against Viridi would have been like.

I went with the leaf, because its shield makes Kirby invincible and it's just a really cool powerup

I was on the edge of my seat the entire Kracko Fight.

I like how hard the True Arena is in this game (and how the game has increased difficulty.) One of the main problems with a lot of bosses in the kirby series is they have super predictable attack patterns, too many of their moves are laggy, or they only use one attack at a time. This game is a good exception. The AI for these bosses in the True Arena are aggressive, somewhat unpredictable, and mix up many attacks into others that can cover the screen (like Coily Rattler DX or Pyribbit DX.) With the epic music this game has and with a close tie with the outstanding designs in the levels and bosses (IMO it beat Kirby's Return to Dreamland a little.) This game is a candidate for the best game in the series.

Has anyone noticed that HAL has made most of their final bosses attacks similar to Marx/Marx Soul's? Think about it: Maglor had the vacuum and giant beam attacks, and Soul of Sectonia had the paint globs and the cutter attack. Also, both frequently teleport around the screen

Oh wow, those Drawcia and Marx moves at the end look pretty nice. I wonder why I haven't bought this game yet.

Pyribbit is such a pain in True Arena, mostly because he's so evasive and jumpy, and not so much that he's difficult. If you are doing a no ability run, the fight becomes looooooooong

I challenged the True Arena three times now. Only in my most recent one did I manage to reach the second form of Sectiona's Soul, only to be utterly annihilated. Jesus Christ... This might be the toughest True Arena of them all for me.

Pyribbit: the most tragic death for the most annoying boss...

So I just watched the segment of Dark Meta Knight and you held on pretty well but the problem for my DMK fight is that he didn't flail his sword around at the start but he goes for a piercing blade attack where he passes right through him. You can then counter by spin hammering away but I can't get far enough away and since the attack I did leaves a hole for him to strike I get damaged, big time. Help!

You know all those copy abilities that may not be so good, but are veritable boss killers, like high jump or tornado? Yeah, i found you can add circus to the list. That thing demolishes pretty much every boss but pyribbit (the volcano thing).

Anyone else think that the start area at 0:11 sounds like Ridley's theme from metroid?

Soul of Sectonia's attacks are so similar to Marx Soul's. By the way, I think some of her attacks can be eaten for abilities.

Can you upload a video where you are fighting against the Hypernova Minibosses? (The Giant Mole in The first stage for example)

chknrsandTBBTROX73 well this, normal arena, dedede tour (all game again with Dedede divided into 6 levels, bosses are DX and final boss is dark meta knight), dedede drum thing, kirby arena (smash-looking thing), story mode, audio test (you unlock this with true arena, 135 ish tracks), copy ability room (in story mode, has all copy abilities and a dummy waddle dee you can try the abilities on).

sam guzman no. You go to the room and there is every "copy ability" you can get in game and a room to test them. Copy Abilities is what they are called because you..copy..the enemies...abilities...

YEAH BECAUSE A BUG/PLANT BECOMING A FIREBALL MAKES TOTAL SENSE

Doesn't the initial hammer charge damage the enemy too? So.. wouldn't turning away from the bosses be a better idea?

You could never go wrong with Archer or Fighter.

Is it just me or is that soul of sectonias final phase in the true arena attacks are pretty much the same attacks as Marx soul from Kirby super star ultra

Uh, the paint rain is also Drawcia, hense why Sectonia turns into Drawcia

Also, Sectonia keeps laughing, like Marx. And she has a noticeable death scream, but not as ear-piercing as Marx Soul's.

+Raddishist If you have the chance, Up+B, if a boss escapes too fast (*cough* Pyribbit... *cough*), use Neutral-B, it does faster, good-damage-dealing attacks

How do you unlock this mode?

Do you have to do this for 100%?

Want it along with with the wind waker HD and animal crossing new leaf.
