First i've ever heard a cop say a bike is TOO loud. I actually had one of my locals tell me they got pulled over to ask if his bike was as quiet as it was stock or if he deadened it. Noise equals safety for bikers

Yes but some town/counties still have noise laws, where your vehicle needs to be below a certain decibel level. It’s somewhere between like 80-90 decibels for most states

They would have to catch me when I came back In because I wasn’t quite tall enough w the weight. Best times of my life.

That cops bike is pretty badass itself

Driving through a construction zone at night, the only lane available was the left turn lane. The light turns green, i lift my foot off the brake, and immediately i get lit up by a biker cop. Long story short, I proceeded through the intersection when the left turn lane light was green, but the other lights were still red (i didnt see them because of the construction zone), and the lights I should've yielded to were the ones which were red. The cop realized what happened, looked back at the construction and went "yeah its all messed up out there, you guys just drive safe alright?" And he let us go. COOLEST cop ive ever run into.

I noticed that exhaust, it’s a 2 stroke no wonder it’s loud

I had a 550 Honda that set in a barn for years. After redoing it, i rode it for a year then one day it just blew out the old muffler guts out the pipe. Got pulled over 3 times that day😂😂😂

That cop would have loved my old car, at idle it was 8 decibels lower than the California limit.

fr im from norway and rules are same here with db that it can't be to loud but older cars that dont have a cat and poorly designed mufflers can be louder bcs they have to go by rules when the car was built :) and they where much easier on laws in the 70's

I used to be okay with loud motorcycles but now I absolutely despise them and think the owners should be fined or the bikes impounded if they refuse to buy a decent muffler! The South Park episode where they totally rank on the loud motorcycles is hilarious!
