Waxer and Boil are basically the 212th version of Fives and Echo, they both should’ve been ark troopers.

@@Cardo...Commando Units typically don't operate completely under the umbrella of a Battalion or Regiment. They were attached/assigned but they are moved and reassigned as needed. The show incorrectly lists them as a subdivision.

Waxer and Boil were some of the most underrated clone duos. Wish we got to see more of them.

0:14 I love how Boil is pissed since he was carrying a rifle and a heavy rocket launcher the last 5 minutes for absolutely nothing, he discards them like "ah fuck it you would have told me before I got on the ship,Do you know how much the ammunition for each weapon weighs?"

Wooley has always made a note in my mind, Cody chose him to accompany himself with Boil and Waxer for the patrol on Ryloth. His fascinating with Kenobi's ability to lure the beast made him rememberable indeed! No idea where you got that info on all 6 troopers, but glad Wooley made it to the end!

@@PrimeTime1999 none of these characters appeared in any of these episodes, notably nova due to the fact that he literally didnt exist until bad batch cane out. There isnt even any confirmation that this character was a member of the 212th attack battallion or even *born* during the clone wars. For all we know Nova was born right after the empire had been formed and the 212th dissolved.

I always liked Boil more. Waxer was always too soft compared to how much more professional Boil was. People always give Boil flak for being too cold and distant, but they're forgetting the dude works in a warzone, where one wrong move will end up badly for him, or worse. They guy has his own heart, but he has a duty to protect it. I feel it's apt that Boil survived over Waxer, since it would no doubt allow for some reflection and growth on Boil's part. Plus, just look at that goatee.

Tbf Waxter didn’t die because he was soft, he bite the dust because of mass sabotage that could have easily gotten Boil killed too. Also Waxer being soft did lead to a victory on Ryloth. Being soft isn’t necessarily a death sentence nor is being cold and ruthless going to make victory always more likely. Now I think of it, it’s entirely possible Boil was killed during Krells betrayal, hopefully not though

@physical_insanity Lol idk why your so butt hurt, you basically did by saying Waxer was less duty based and more focused on his morals than the battle. While Boil is more duty based and combat oriented thus he’s more likely to survive. I just voiced my opinion, you don’t have to be a dick about it

The clones where more human than anyone else and it sucks how they were just killed or forgotten about or worse thanks to the bad batch show experimented on they were the best and no stormtrooper will ever be better than a clone trooper

You are right in many ways the only problem with cloning is their genes it’s all the same. And with that if you find a defect in one you find a defect in all (ie chemical warfare)

Waxer died on Umbara unfortunately.

I only just realized Boil was the one with the drawing of Numa on his ARF helmet. I don’t know why Waxer doesn’t on his when he has one on his phase II helm.

Luma lightened him up, big time. When they meet Kenobi, she hides behind Boil. When they leave her behind on Ryloth, he’s the one that says goodbye (on screen). Waxer showed great compassion to save her, Boil developed a stronger soft spot for her that clearly stuck

tbh it is really crazy that Boil and Waxer weren’t ARC troopers, the Ryloth campaign alone was more than the invasion of Kamino logistically speaking, they easily deserved it for their capability in combat and out of the box thinking

we do kinda get the notion that clones could be cold and assholes too though. I think the clone cadet episode showed they could be bullies, the clone who sided with krell showed they could be cold and loyal to a fault, and the bad batch showed they could be assholes too when tech is not surprised by the way they react to him at the very beginning (push him aside). I'm also missing some scenes probably.

Clones were most definitely asses. We just dont see it much since they were usually shown in strict military settings in which their entire life revolved around. Clones had to be segregated during their downtimes between deployments because they were just ultra rowdy.

Hopefully Crys in The Bad batch season 3 too.

If the Clone Wars had continued or Order 66 never happened and Waxer survived Umbara, they would have become ARC troopers together. I like to think Boil ended up becoming one. Change my mind.

It's funny to think that these two were the Echo and Fives of the 212th, and to make it more obvious, they were ARF Troopers, while Echo and Fives were ARC Troopers. Kind of a fun paralelism Also to note, although accidental, only the grumpy ones from those two groups (Echo and Boil) remain, while Fives and Waxer, well... 😔

surrounded with bugs in the open field and taking cover with a make do wall of the AT-TE + LAAT is terrifying.. i personally rate this scene up there with the Umbara
