I read a theory on Tumblr that Carmilla is actually Eve, who was condemned to Hell as punishment for eating the Apple. So it's possible that still makes her able to have children, since she's the Mother of Humanity, after all, which also explains her strong maternal instincts. But like I said, it's only a theory

I find when she let's her hair down. She looks similar to Sara. Possibly symbolizing how they are both dedicated mother figures. Just on opposite sides of the issue on Hell and Heaven. I believe that season most likely, no must, have an episode where they meet and face off and eventually find a new understanding and respect for one another.

They're also really useful for her fighting style! Since she kicks as a way to fight, she occasionally has to stand or flip on her hands (as shown in Out For Love). So it makes sense her hands would be big enough to not only catch her when she lands, but withstand the necessary weight shifts when her feet are in the air.

Alastor actually seemed bothered by her casually dismissing him.

I was thinking, and I'm probably wrong, but a slight consideration is that the reason why love is a better motivation for Vaggie to fight with might be more than sentiment from Carmilla. A person fighting with vengeance and hate at the forefronts of their mind seems liable to aim for pain shots, to draw it out and savor things, or to attack wildly with little regard for their own health. But a person fighting for another? You make more defensive moves because you'd like to get *back* to them while losing none of the motivation to trade your life for their saftey. It splits a better balance for someone like Vaggie who we were just told leaves herself open in combat due to a lack of consideration for harm.

This might just be me...but Carmilla seems like one of the few figures in Hell that might actually be NICE! You got Charlie, Vaggie, Angel, Husk, Rosie, M&M, Stolas, Lucifer, Asmodeus, Fizzarolli, Bee, Millie's family, Nifty (to a degree) and probably Zestial. Sure, Carmilla doesn't care about the struggles of Hell as a whole; preferring to focus more on keeping her family safe. But from what we saw between her and Vaggie, she doesn't seem heartless (not like Alastor)

But it's one of those cliche tropes of "subverting your expectations". The old "Hell is misunderstood" and "Heaven/the Church is actually corrupt". I too like Carmilla, but... I hate how flat they made her children... aka her whole reason for everything she does. Do we know ANYTHING about them beyond them being hers? No. So beyond that detail why should we care about them? Seems like a waste.

Opening a portal connecting hell and heaven seems to not be an imposible task by any means, even when adam died the exterminators (which are not exactly the highest ranking angels) seemed to be able to open one. So theres always a posibility for a black market of sorts happening there, at least before it was revealed that angels could be killed with their weapons. I do not think the showmakers thought of it so deeply tho, i think these kinda points are just for us to let slide to emjoy the show

I don't know how Canon the pilot still is, but we can see what seems to be one of Carmilla's daughters- maybe both, just redesigned, taking angelic weapons that were left behind in corpses

I like when you can tell the difference when she is going to attack the angelic steel glows when she’s fighting to kill or for real but when she was teaching vaggie it didn’t glow but then it did so it could teach vaggie to be alert.

there's something about her cadence that is so unusual but is also pleasant in a refreshing manner.
