The gunslinger effect. He's waiting for Hunter to make his move so he can counter, not having his hand near his gun makes Hunter think he'll be caught off guard.

1:45 Hunter was faster than Bane, but he tried to shoot from the shoulder like a soldier rather than the hip like Bane did.

iirc he always had the dent, but it was later retconned to be from the CW duel

I mean at that point in the timeline Bane is around 70 yrs. old so it makes sense his face would begin to sag a bit

2:03 to anyone I recommend this video or who sees it you pause right here you see both pulled their gun Bane was just quicker to shoot his. He hit him in the shoulder plausibility for the reason being the other dude already had drawn by this point which explains why he lit the other dude up and just chose to shoot vanth once.

No, Din might beat him anyway because of his armor and other gadgets (im 50/50 on it) but in a pure gunslinging Cad Bane is just the single best we know of in the canon.
