ALL Black Floors! - Making the underside of your Foxbody as nice as the Top!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Justin couldn't stand how nice the engine bay looked all black and decided that he wanted the whole underside to look just as clean! You'll see how I prep his car out and use Seymour's MRO Industrial Black paint to make this car look absolutely beautiful underneath. - It's all in the prep!

Oh, thats what I should do to my 87 before I put in the new engine. Scrub off the 306k miles of crud and clean it up. I'm just too old to be doing it on my back while the car is on jack stands! 😂 Looks great Chris!
Looks great Chris.
It turned out amazing Chris! I for one appreciate your honesty with your customers! integrity is everything!
Nice work!! I like how thorough you are what a difference 👊
Car looks great!!
How many Foxes in the shop at one time? Everywhere the camera is pointed; ‘Foxes’ 😂
That looks awesome I need to that.
I just finished listening to yalls podcast for the first time, I have to say I enjoyed it quite a bit, I will keep tuning in!
man youre the man, its like we are going through these foxes doing the same things lol. i am painting my floor as well. Respect man youre always putting in work and doing a great job on these cars
Damn looks better than new,
I was hoping you’d leave the bay matte black. I really thought that was a super clean look
Nice work !
Orange in that engine bay fire
I see a Godzilla intake making a cameo! Damn that floor turned out excellent!
Looks great as always, great job!!!!
Great job that came out looking awesome.
Man, it turned out awesome.
Chris that turned out MINT!!!!!!!
My car spent 4 years overseas and I need to have the underside addressed.
I would have went with por15 for superior rust prevention long term

POR. Paint over rust. It’s garbage. No true auto restoration shop uses it. That car has zero rust. Why use it?
😎
Dude where do you get the big ass bag to cover the car from?

Wow! It came out amazing, can’t believe how clean the car was to begin with. So how many work hours do you have into the car so far with the tear down, prep, and paint?

Up to what you see there, 28hrs
You need a paint booth for stuff like this

Problem is.. who has a hoist in their paint booth? Would have needed a rotisserie to do this in a booth.. An outside lift would have been ideal, just sucks moving around a stripped down car. Painting the underside wasn't in the original SOW either. It was a change order while we were waiting for the motor to show up lol.

Who would have a lift in their paint booth, you buddy, lol, you know for work like you do, your not exactly painting cars, it would cut down on covering everything, you know how that MRO paint is on over spray

@@thruitallauto2538 haha true
I have no idea why anyone would take such an original unrestored underneath and rattle can it black. But to each their own I guess.
I really hate the whole cookie cutter thing. I was born in 87, so all the cars I remember had simple stuff like Saleen wings, chrome ponies, flowmasters, cheese graters. I honestly can’t believe it’s already to the point of making fun of people with “cookie cutters”
Isn't dat Menace 2 Society car sold already?

I'm telling your boss!
I prepped the $h it out of under my car and used Eastwood products and was not impressed. Covered well but you can run your finger nails over it and it shows. Definitely you would think user error but it was done right. Came out nice but not happy with it 100% I did satin black as well.
