It's just going to boil down to chemistry and timing with Rodgers and the boys, and how long it'll take to catch on to his in-game audibles and hand signals. If they _start out_ strong and clicking, it's going to be a destructive season against defenses! And then, there's health....

I don’t know what will happen this year, but I appreciate Joe and Bob for creating an environment that players clearly want to be in, and that’s hard to do, especially with all the scrutiny the players must know to anticipate

@@lvpromod1013 coach is 18-33 and GM is 25-57. You watch on game day all the bad decisions. You watch the GM draft ZW, Becton, Mims and Moore and then give tons of money to Corey Davis and Lanken Tomlinson. Then go get a 40 year old QB whose kryptonite has always been a pass rush and then do nothing to fortify the line. Then giving up draft picks to get him when his own team didn’t want him. Then hire Hackett and bring in players like Cobb, Lazard and his back up QB just to appease him. YEA….wrong direction

He's definitely right. The Oline is the foundation of the offense. The Oline's performance reflects the rest of the offense

I thoroughly enjoyed this entire draft. We really picked guys we wanted in every position of the draft. The Jets staff loved what they do and it shows. We as fans are getting what we deserve finally!

Joe Douglas finally did something smart drafting Fashanu instead of a TE or WR there because we weren't going to get another good O-linemen if they didn't take one at pick 10. Malachi Corley ended up being a great WR pick so it worked out best this time.

Back in Britaine once upon a time we had a legendary sportsman called John Fashanu... this player reminds me of him - "the Fash".

The fact that somebody is happy to be becoming a New York Jet and we were his top pick, that just gives me chills. He knows he’ll be blocker for a hall of fame QB and that his team has a chance to win now. What a great time to be a Jets fan!

I’m excited for this season. The offense looks angrier with those rookies.

Olu has the perfect psyche for being a huge success. He will protect “my man” and Jets will soar!

Can someone tell me why the fanbase and media started sleeping on Olu? Was it the 0 or 1 sack(s) given up over his career? Or the “we need to draft a weapon in the first round or our season is a bust” ridiculous thinking? I understand OT is a strength on paper… for one season before we have no longterm starters (pre-Olu). This just never made sense to me. We got arguably the best pass protector in the draft at probably the most important offensive position, maybe total position, outside QB. And we have fans and media screaming for Tight End, and low on the pick. So dumb. Sooooooo dumb. Let’s go, congrats Olu. My biggest draft crush.

When Queens?

I was pumped up for Bowers, and thought for sure he’d be the pick, but it is IMPOSSIBLE not to love Olu. I really just have a gut feeling he’ll work out and be our franchise LT for years to come. Such great character, such a great story, everyone who played with/coached him in Penn State speak volumes about his work ethic and coachability, and he’s genuinely happy to be here in NY. What’s not to love? With the talent he has already and the talent around him in Tyron and Moses, I think he’s in a perfect position as a rookie. Beyond him, Corley’s a dog, and the EXACT guy I was rooting for with that pick. Can’t wait to watch him work in space and bulldoze DBs. Allen and Davis, while I didn’t understand taking TWO RBs, I’m happy we have two more good ones and they complement our other backs very well. Stiggers’ story is a great one, and I think him and Key couldn’t be drafted to a better team. No place can develop a late round DBs better than the Jets, just ask MCII and Brandin Echols. Excited to see what we can do this year. Just pray the injury bug treads lightly

Reason I love the Jets draft this year is none of the guys have to come in and be THE guy. They all have proven, reliable, and in most cases elite vets above them to help them develop.
