This is very similar to the Munsell color system (1910’s). It’s still popular but the CMYK process method is more accurate. Would love to see a video that uses cyan and magenta or the use of warm and cool versions of each primary. 🙂

How do you achieve the neon color shades?

Thanks so much for these very helpful tutorials!! May I suggest...Try using white freezer paper [from most grocery stores] on your palette. It may be easier to mix paints, without so much distracting paint residue smears. [Example: the purple you mixed here looks almost brown on the computer screen because your palette paper holds so much of the residue of the red paint behind your mixed purple.]

Is that what pallet paper is? I saw pallet paper at my local art store and thought it was a clever idea. All the papers are bound on eachside together and easy to peel off after its used, but now that i think of it, it could just be wax paper bound together.

@@cronaman3196 Wax paper is not water repellent. But FREEZER PAPER is. You can cut up a bunch of sheets for a fraction of the cost of art palette paper.
