Is there an advantage to using the Arruda-Boyce model over the Gent model?

If you use Abaqus then I recommend using the Arruda-Boyce model (since Abaqus does not provide native support for the Gent model 🙂). In other cases you can use either model. They give basically the same accuracy of the predictions. I like the micromechanical assumptions in the Arruda-Boyce model, though.
