Hey Steve, very good informative video - thanks. I have a question about the on/off setting for Reverse Wiper. Does turning that feature off prevent the rear wiper from automatically operating when Reverse is selected while the front wipers are switched on/operating?

Hey Richard, just had the chance to double check that feature for you! If you turn the reverse wiper setting off in the Sync3 screen it doesn't permanently disable the rear wiper. That reverse wiper setting means that the wiper will automatically turn on if the front wipers are on and you put the car in reverse. Something I just learned myself!

@@CarsWithSteve Thanks Steve - yes, that's what I thought. That's an excellent setting option. In my current vehicle ('18 Audi Q5) the rear wiper automatically turns on if the front wipers are on and I put the car in reverse. It drives me crazy that I can't defeat that automatic feature. Btw... I think in your first paragraph above you meant to write "... it doesn't permanently disable the REAR wiper". Cheers Richard

@@richardb9591 It really is a great setting! The majority of 2020 Lincoln cars/suvs have it as an option. Yes to the REAR vs reverse wiper! Enjoy the new car!

Great tutorial! I currently have an F-150 with Sync 3 and I find it annoying that you cannot use it simultaneously with Android Auto. Meaning I can't get to any of the Sync 3 apps including weather, sports etc without unplugging the phone. Is this the case in the Lincoln?

Thanks for the feedback Brandon! You can disable Android Auto so that the phone will still be plugged in to charge while using Sync3.. With your phone connected press the blue "Ford" button on the Sync3 Android Auto screen - that'll take you back to the Sync3 home screen. From there swipe until you see the Android Auto button, click it and de-select "Enable Android Auto"

The little tab on the top would be the release.. when you're plugged in snugly it'll click into place so that little tab on the top is the release to remove the charger

Lincoln missed the mark here with not being able to toggle through the screen with one knob

The infotainment UI is the most boring of any car I have ever been in. My older Ford Explorer is jazzier than this. Blah.
