I know I’m late to this video. But just bought a 2019. Find this version of sync somewhat difficult to navigate. My maps and nav are all set North up. Can’t figure out how to change it to heading / route up. Nav settings don’t show anything to change that. Any help on this?

All good! Blast from the past on this one. When you're on the main navigation screen with no route going there's a button on the bottom right that's a short arrow pointing up with some text just under it. Press that to change to different map views
Do you know what version of Sync 3 is standard on this Navigator?

@@kingcc2 I just scrubbed through the video but it doesn't look like I got to the current Sync version page to see what it was running. The Sync3 system (3.0xx) on cars delivered is considered a legacy version that doesn't have a factory upgrade option to 3.4xx There are some aftermarket shops that can help with the upgrade but it would be redundant as Sync 3.4 is legacy with the new Sync 4/4a systems
When the Bluetooth has connected with my cell phone, why i couldn't hear my u tube apps on my phone on the speaker ? And why my auto android only gave me Pandora ,no whats up apps and etc ?

Some apps won't have their audio carry through unfortunately, it's an issue with the app and not Android Auto. Pandora not showing is most likely just an app update that needs to happen. One thing you can try doing is head into Android Auto on your phone when you are NOT connected to the car. Tap 3 bars at the top. Select "Apps for Android Auto", (not in Settings). Look for Pandora to see if it is still installed on the phone. Make sure it has the latest update and apply the update if it's not

@@CarsWithSteve i didn't mean to use my auto android for listening my you tube music that day , I just tried to link my u tube music to the speaker of my car through Bluetooth but I can't hear anything , why ? The phone already linked with Bluetooth to the car , I was expecting i can hear my u tube music throughout my car's speaker 🔊 ... May i know what should I do next ? I did have a ford rent car before and used Bluetooth just to listen my u tube music or Pandora that time it worked maybe this Sync3 doesn't allow this kind of stuff ?

@@lidyaabbott8229 If you're going over bluetooth some of the apps would show on the App screen - connect your phone via bluetooth and then select "Apps" on the bottom of the screen. Music apps that are supported by Sync3 should show up there! If your app isn't listed make sure your vehicle software is up to date - and make sure each app has its most current version
Didn't like the video. You never used the volume button or the temperature buttons and showed the screen blanking out entirely and how to maybe fix that. And you used your finger so much that it would be impossible to drive the car and find the poke location on the screen. No haptic feedback either. Overall, this Sync 3 is lousy and not easy to navigate or use while driving.
