For Halloween one year she made a video for her fans to share how she baked a cake and decorated it to look like a bloody brain on a platter. Halloween is one of her favorite days of the year. Taeyeon sometime sleepwalks and also talk in her sleep . She dislikes boys with long hairs. Her inspiration to become a singer was BoA . She was cast in We Got Married and her husband in the show was Jung Hyung Don (Weekly Idol's MC). On 28 November 2017, Taeyeon got involved in a car accident. Her favourite colour is purple.

Taeyeon spent time a lot at cosmetic shops and she enjoyed trying the new products and bought them, played at home to release some stress

The Taengoo nickname was actually given to her by one fan on DC inside Taeyeon gallery. That one fan persistently pushed that nickname until Taeyeon noticed it, liked it and it then started becoming used widely. To the point that journalist sometimes use it in articles nowadays. Her nickname is that well know, to the point that Taeyeon = Taengoo :)

I have fierce mind but I'm quiet and shy in public lol.

Taeyeon has a total of 7 piercings (2 in left ear and 5 in right) and 6 tattoos.

Taeyeon tends to like one thing at a time but really passionately example in the start she really likes to colour and draw but then she turned to nail art and after awhile she turned to baking and the vlogging etc etc she picks up a lot of hobbies and passionately do stuff she likes thus she's a bit like me once i tend to like something I'll watch or like it fully till theres nothing to do then move on to the next thing however im running out of things to enjoy thus Taeyeon is such an inspiration she gives me ideas to continue to fill in my days ❣️

Thank you for doing this video. I really appreciate it a lot since most of my childhood is with SNSD. Even if I'm a girlgroup stan, Girls' Generation - TTS is still my top because they are everything I find in an artist💯. Taeyeon is got a nickname as a 'paper doll' as she couldn't get through the mud in a game on a variety show and ended up being weak (like paper) and doll because shes pretty as a doll. Another fact is that Taeyeon is very strong as an idol, she has gone through a lot she is known as an unlucky idol yet she has gotten through all that and is able to stand where she is with her fans, friends, family and SNSD members. On top of that she is an inspiration to many of her fans and she is the reason many of them can stand. She sleeps with her eyes opened. She said that it’s because her eyes are too big for them to close. She is also flexible that she can sleep anywhere even in a small cabinet. She is sometimes drinking alcohol for her to sleep because she has a lot of thoughts inside her head that prevent her to sleep. There was a time when Yoona went home late then she didn’t turn on the lights so that she couldn’t bother her sleeping team mates. Then Yoona saw Taeyeon looking at her so she talked to her but Taeyeon was not responding, that’s when she realized Taeyeon was actually sleeping with her eyes opened. Yoona was really scared that time. Her team mates were all looking for her but they couldn’t find her anywhere.
