It removes airborne grease, combustion products, fumes, smoke, heat, and steam from the air by evacuation of the air and filtration. In commercial kitchens exhaust hoods are often used in combination with fire suppression devices so that fumes from a grease fire are properly vented and the fire is put out quickly. Commercial vent hoods may also be combined with a fresh air fan that draws in exterior air, circulating it with the cooking fumes, which is then drawn out by the hood.

I really like ur videos ... they are very informative. Can u do a video on downsizing , off the grid homes? How a read couple can build a small home that is environmentally friendly plus is powered by solar energy. Most of us have built homes that we cannot physically maintain.. mainly becos our health is declining and house help is very difficult to get.

Some of the statements of the salesperson is wrong. For example, he said that when one uses the kitchen hood (exhaust fan) with steamer, all oils and spilled over food particles would be sucked out. Total lie. He doesn't know anything about how a hood works. He also did not state the speed of the hood/exhaust fan. A minimum of 900 cfm speed is required for proper sucking of odor, but 1,200 cfm fan is much better. Otherwise, a commercial type kitchen hood/exhaust could be installed and its noise would be minimum. Its motor is located outside (exterior wall) and only the kitchen hood is installed inside (on top of the stove or cook top). Usually, the kitchen hood and stove (in the United States) come in two sizes: 30 (76.2 cm) inch and 36 inches (91.4) If the cooking range or stove is 30-inch, the hood also must be the same size, but it is better to install 36-inch kitchen hood/exhaust. Even if oil is collected in a storage bin, or regardless of the exaggerated sales techniques of the company, the fan inside and its surrounding area would be filled with oil and dirt. So, there are kitchen hoods with filters available which can be taken out for thorough cleaning. A kitchen hood must be installed 27-35 inches from the top of the stove or counter top for proper sucking of air. Even so, the cooking odor would spread all over the home, especially in closed homes, such as the homes in the United States or elsewhere. This is because the air-conditioning return air vents are also installed in kitchen area and the odor from the kitchen would be spread to other rooms. Given the reason, nowadays, home builders also build a second kitchen known as "Asian Kitchen," a completely closed kitchen with powerful kitchen hood. The salesperson said Faber and Franke are the best in quality. A high price does not mean it is a good quality. In the United States, there are many brands of kitchen appliances available (Bosch, Frigidaire, GE, Kitchenaid, LG, Maytag, Panasonic, Sharp, Whirlpool, etc.. Many customers buy the appliances, based on the test reports of Consumer Reports which does not accept any advertisements of testing sample from any companies.

I had a bad experience from this shop.I went to buy a chimney and hob but the bad attitude of the lady shop manager changed my mind.She has serious attitude issue and the way she talks to customers is a disgrace. I will never recommend anyone to go there.
