Those two documents are in Chinese so do I just need to give them to a certified translator here in Canada for translation? My mother's name on all my docs (including passport, educational docs) is different than my Birth Certificate. Her Name on my BC is same as on her docs. Would affidavit would work to prove that both the name belong to her only.

Hi Suyash, if the principle applicant (father) is being sponsored by wife (sponsor), and they have grown up kids in their 30s and 40s, do they need to attach all of the childrens birth certificates? A bit confused here, all kids are Canadian citizen, and dont really have birth certificates, unless its meant for dependant children?

Any documentation you have to prove that you could not obtain a birth certificate due to your refugee status will help. (you need any official document saying “non availability of birth certificate” or “birth certificate not found” something of that sort) As long as you have a valid reason and you can explain it to ircc with documentation, you’ll be fine. also, make sure to attach other proof of birth such as high school certificate/marksheets with birth date

Its original certificate or true certified copy, if you have the original then you can scan it. True certified mean is that you don't have the original but you have a copy that is certified

Our application got submitted on Jan 4 and in between my baby born and submitted all of her documents finally we got pre-arrival on sep 28th 2022.. Not an issue. Date of registration is often a few days after birth for most people

Yes but it should be certified translator, you will attach both original and translated copies with translateor stamp

@@Chicago786 i showed my birth certificate to two different people and they told me that my date of registration is clearly reflecting the correct date. So I ended up writing a LOE and added by matriculation certificate. Hope it works🤙

@@Chicago786 my date of registration is one month away from DOB and date of issue is 2021. I explained the reason in LOE why I was unable to provide the original birth certificate and also added my matriculation certificate which has my DOB. I'm from Mumbai ☺️.

original birth certificate and an affidavit of accuracy from a notary should be sufficient in my opinion. make sure all these differences are very clearly explained in your application.
