I used to HATE peridot when I was younger, but the pretty light lime green gem grew on me and I LOVE this stone and so happy I’m an August baby!!!

My birthday is today, August 1st! What an awesome video on my birthday! I prefer Pallasite Peridot, because it comes from space, and I intend to study Astrophysics in college, which I will start later this month. I didn't know there are two other gemstones of the month, so that's cool. Thanks JTV for a great video. Peridot for the win!

I'm also an August baby. Was not fond of green as my birthstone either. But now with the spinel's hue being like 4 different colors we got about 6 lol. It ironically makes me love the peridot more
I never knew this was my birthstone. I need a Green Lantern Ring now!!
Apparently, people born in August call people they hate clods, may get left behind in a garden for 6,000 years, and are a fused version of people born in January and June.
Of course I love my birthstone Peridot. Didn't know Sardonyx and Spinel were also August birthstones. Way cool!!

Wait-- I didn't know about Sardonyx, nor Spinel for August!!! I love Sardonyx, personally, but my Mom's is Emerald (May) and i like having Peridot bc dark green and light green lol Thank you for teaching me more about my birth month!

I born on 30/august/ 1972 which gem stone is useful for. I am doing trading in stock market. Which stone is suitable for me.
I hate peridot cause green isn't my color, but I was greatly surprised to find out about sardonyx that I even wear the stone around my neck. Now that I know spinel can be black as well it's going on as a necklace as well!

My family and I have seen Pallasites at the Ross Hall of Meteorites in the American Museum of Natural History.
I forgot sardonyx is a type of onyx ish stone funny bc either the Roman or Greek birth stone for august is onyx and that's the one I like to wear as my birth stone
