This is the most accurate and precise video I've seen... What a great in depth analysis on all the states... There are other videos out there too but they just explain their rankings in 1 or 2 sentences... I mean it's not enough... There was enough research put into this one and the narration as well as the editing was perfect. No unnecessary background noise nd music... Cudos to the team !!

@@camielkors7246 Screw an index. I'm using the word prosperous as in how much the US has changed daily life. Air conditioning? Done here, by Willis Carrier. Apple, one of the most iconic companies in the world? Done here by Steve Jobs and two others. Google, another one of the worlds most iconic companies? Done Here. Nike same. Pfizer, Amazon, Traffic lights as well. So many important things in our world that the US is responsible for. It isn't debatable that the US has had the greatest impact on the world. Not saying were perfect, but we don't suck either. The US is a much better place than people give it credit for.

So happy to see my state, Nebraska, actually made it into the top 10. Your words regarding Omaha are very true. It's especially funny knowing that Lincoln is supposed to be our capital yet Omaha is larger and seems to be more advanced in a few areas at least. As I saw one person say online years ago, Lincoln's just a really big town while Omaha is an actual city.

Sure, it's not some super-busy metropolitan deal like New York or California, but Nebraska's really relaxing and I am grateful for that relaxation.

I live in rural Western Massachusetts, I recommend. Cheap with less jobs here, more expensive with more jobs in Boston. A nice educated state

@@travelsofmunch1476 I live in rural Central Ma and it’s nice enough. We have too much good publicity and EVERYBODY is pouring into our area. It’s being ruined slowly. Boston once had around 900,000 people but now it’s more like 550,000

What someone considers the "best" state is relative to their income level. For example, California or New York are easily the best states if you have money. If you're a middle income family then Texas or North Carolina are the best states because they have strong economies with affordable housing. If you're poor, no state is really the best

Most of the people who are moving out of California have a lower income. Not at the bottom but low enough to make it a struggle to live in California. Conversely most of the people who are moving in to California have a higher income. A significant percentage of them come from Texas.

My favorite states are North Carolina Michigan and Nebraska

I think California deserves a ton of credit for its economy and things like that, but seriously we need to not make everything so ungodly expensive. besides that, I wouldn't choose to live anywhere else. California is my home forever and always

I love this video. I am from Indiana and was glad to see it was 29 which wasn’t as bad as Illinois or Ohio. I am glad Michigan ranked higher which is just north of me. They have colder winters but a pretty state. I guessed Vermont or New Hampshire as number one. Colorado is a great state if you like mountains. Indiana has a lot to do if you go to parks and Indianapolis.

I only visit Columbus when I visit Ohio. I’m from DC so of course I love how chill Columbus is. Sidenote look into Waldorf Maryland. A lot of people from DC move out there to get a big inexpensive house 😃

Boston is most similar to Melbourne Australia so I could see myself living in Massachusetts. Looks nice enough. It seems alot more affordable as well. About 25% cheaper. It gets my tick.

I don’t recommend it. Crime is rampant and it’s weird because costs are basically higher than NYC. The city has shrunk from 900,000 people to 550,000.

I would have ranked Georgia higher. I liked Atlanta even though the traffic kind of ruins it. New Mexico does deserve last place but if it didn't suck so bad it would be my favorite. I love the food, weather, sights, etc.

I would recommend including the cost of living index in your criteria. Sure, some states have higher median income, but they are also more expensive.

I moved from Colorado to Utah just to get away from the people, but not just that I actually moved here because of the mountains surprisingly. My 2-4 hour drive to ski got changed to just a twenty minute one and the view is great!

Good video. To learn some on the USA. All countries have variaty; like some towns ,regios where people will not even be found dead. Or where its so boring to wait Eastern and Pentaost falls on the same day. Apart that the no 1 and 50 share a border!!!

The best part about our pretty coastline (Oregon) is that the entire coast is public property!! Unlike WA or CA where they are private and owned by specific people, you can just go anywhere and enjoy the beautiful landscape
