That discussion of Godzilla Minus One as well as Godzilla’s recent media is exactly the way I feel, with the exception of King Of The Monsters, which is my personal favorite movie in general. But yeah Minus One is phenomenal. It overtook Gamera: Revenge Of Iris as my second favorite kaiju movie ever made and A Quiet Place as my fourth favorite film ever made. My favorite story from the Shanhameh is that of the Serpent King, specifically the blacksmith who calls out the Serpent King to his face and then walks out and then rallies a rebellion in the open. Fucking legend.

As someone who’s only exposure to Godzilla is the monster verse movie and Death Battle, I was excited to see Minus One after hearing such good things about it. My mom was reluctant but joined anyway. As soon as we figured out what Koichi’s job was, we were hooked. And when we saw Noriko get blown away by the Atomic Breath, our jaws were on the floor.

Ok so, regarding the Scott Pilgrim movie, the reason the ending felt like it was leading to Scott returning to Knives was because that was actually the plan. You see, when the film was entering production, the comics weren’t even halfway done, so a lot of the script had to be written alongside the comics, and by the time they got to the ending no one knew what to do, so they wrote and shot both the ending where Scott stayed with Ramona and the one where he returned to Knives and test screened them both. More people liked the Ramona ending, so they went with that, and that’s why the ending is like that.

I HEAVILY recommend Medaka Box and Reborn. Reborn especially is one of my favorite anime/manga of all time. I'd kill for Itachi vs Mukuro as an illusion fight.

Very nice video it’s nice to see some long videos that don’t involve death battle I can guarantee that I’ll be watching this a lot more in the future very good job nem Also I thought I’d recommend something that involves 2 of the series here even if it likely won’t be something you’ll end up talking about but regardless I think since you enjoy ace attorney and my little pony I feel like you’d enjoy the fan made crossover series’ turnabout storm and elements of justice they are really great series that mix both series really well and have some great writing and usage of their characters I highly recommend them

Finally, someone else who played Fate/Samurai Remnant. I liked it a lot, but I'm hoping the other servants we only play as for bits at a time get added in an update (that's probably what the DLC episodes will be though.) I'm really happy we finally got a new Fate game. (Also, my bad if you mentioned it and I didn't see, but the music was a bit too loud at points. I enjoyed what I've seen of this tho 👍)

If you’re a fan of uncharted, I recommend checking out the last of us games. I love both of them, and I think they received all the praise they deserve. They are VERY dark, and part II is divisive for a reason (there’s basically a 50/50 chance if you like it so it seems), but the story the two games tell together is my favorite story in all of fiction. The games really changed my life, especially part II, and as a huge fan of yours, I’m curious to see what you think of them

You should watch persons of interest. It’s a long show, having 103, 44minute long episodes, but in my opinion it’s absolutely worth it. The premise is in the pilot so you should just watch that to learn. Just know, season 1 is a little slow at point and is the weakest season of the show but it gets better.

Man if you have mixed opinions about the dlc to scarlet and violet i have BAD news about sword and shield. Anyway here's hoping this year will be great

Based on your line at the end of the Video Nem your probably not looking for many more anime to watch next year. But I'll give you one anyways, Kaiji the Ultimate Survivor is one of the best shows I have ever seen. While extremely slow pace it is an amazing Gambeling and Death Game series all rolled into one with a protagonist that is outright terrible at what he does. Only scrapping by with strategy and loosing over and over again. But what truly separates Kaiji is that unlike most Death Game series when the stakes are too high or you feel there is so much he could loose to the point it would be insigne if he lost. Kaiji can and will lose. You won't expect where or when but it's an aspect that makes it so good. Better then series like Squid Game, Battle Royal and Dangonrompa I would highly recommend.

honestly, im a huge fnaf fan but i didnt give a shit about anything in the movie, i wanted the actual events of the games to finally be laid out in a clear and enjoyable way but it was just some random shitty "horror" film with the animatronics slapped in there

Honestly, I’d 100% be down for a Pokémon Legends game focusing on Ash Greninja. Yes, I am biased because Greninja is my favorite Pokémon, but also because Ash Greninja was given no real story in the anime or games. Yeah, I know there was a reference of a village hero in the anime but outside of that, nothing. Give us some lore, Game Freak, I need it.

Boy do I share the same sentiment of Spider-Man 2 being the most disappointing game of the year. Not only as a Spider-Man fan but as a Venom fan as well. Yes I was salty as shit that they made Venom Harry and not Eddie for no reason and it’s still not beating the allegations of having harry being venom just being a symbiote reskin of his stuff as a goblin (not saying Venom isn’t good without Eddie, I love Flash Thompson as much as everyone else does, it’s just that most other hosts aside from Flash or Eddie are just boring) but that was the least of the big problems with this Venom. Venom in this game is just a generic monster with no personality instead of the hosts traits just being slightly influenced by the symbiote as well as vice versa happening to the symbiote. Also you get Tony Todd to voice Venom and you cut 90 percent of his dialogue and YOU WASTE THIS CASTING! HOW!? And also please stop with the “oh no my friend is my main villain” thing already. Do agree that Kraven is great. Could’ve used a bit more of him, but otherwise Kraven was interesting and imposing and just had the biggest highlights of the game….outside of Tony Todd just speaking and Yuri Lowenthal having (an admittedly short and undercooked) bully arc like any proper spidey.

This might be a hot take but I really really dislike Kieran as a character even in Teal Mask. Like in my opinion while Carmine is a shit older sibling I don’t think she’s really deserve the title of “abuser” just feels extreme for what is like a diet stereotypical rude older sibling. Also for Kieran I feel the thing that made me dislike him boils down to how he takes creatures with their own agency and proceeds to act like he’s entitled to them. For Ogerpon he wants her because he feels just because he knows so much about the Pokémon while ignoring that Ogerpon might not really feel anything to him. It makes him seem so annoying and weirdly possessive this I think is really obvious with Terapagos in which the fucking poor little creature WALKS towards the first thing it sees and begins to have a full blown episode because it didn’t immediately fall in love with him…like I know you saw it as the Pokémon loving us but it literally just saw us and walked to the first thing it’s likely seen in decades. It makes the fight feel more justified given Kieran basically attempts to kidnap it because I guess it’s HIS PROPERTY. Idk maybe I’m the asshole but he never really feels endearing and just seems like a guy with like diet nice guy energy. Also while I do get what you mean it’s pretty obvious why there’s multiple dragons since they’re literally just past or future cyclizar while Terapagos is a one of a kind creature that’s linked to the tera crystals.

I disagree about the critisim about the human scenes in Shin Godzilla being boring making them bad. The movie was made as a responce to the Fukushima disaster and the goverments responce. The boring goverments scenes are important to the films message about how stupid and pointless bureaucracy is so the boring scenes are boring on purpose. It's fine of you don't like them, but to me the add to the movie and it's message
