I had the privilege to see Wagner three times as Jekyll. He never had an off day, it was 110% every time.

I always saw Chuck Wagner as like a more or less classic 1930's villain while Cuccioli and Evans prefer a more modern/edgier style, Warlow somehow pulled the both of them together and perfected it.

Jack Moody Another 2 versions of J&H I would really suggest, are the Japanese version, and Marti Pellow

+StaryBlaze and Mangle the Reviewist I'll definitely look into those! The Korean version (his name is Cho Seoung Woo or something along those lines) is also quite good!

I think there are only few actors who did NOT portray Hyde as a gentleman and rather as the human beast he actually is: Wagner, Chris Murray, Sebastian Bach (terrible singing though), Thomas Borchert and Chris Maxfield.

I saw him live do this show on tour...I liked him as hyde but as Jekyll he was awful..talk about leaning over to reach a note..it was painful to listen to and painful to watch!

He also created the roles in Houston and in the early demos before it ever made it to Broadway. Legend of a performer.
