A perfect example of an extremely talented drummer knowing how to play for the song!
2024, still Alive an Kicking and loving this cover!
AWESOME !!!! Thank you
Perfect!!!!
Excelente. Parabens.
You nailed it. So hard to get covers right, you have the talent and the respect to the original to make this perfect. Great voices, deadly accurate drums, great musicians. Well done!
Excellent choix de chanson Reprise très professionnelle

Truly moving. Goosebumps started at :58. Rob - diggin’ the lockdown hair!
Hey Rob...... I haven't played drums since I was 24....half my life ago. Then I was just watching you tube and a video popped up about some dude playing drums....... YOU. Now I'm awaiting delivery of my mapex starter kit so I can get back to where I left off, drooling over the likes of Stuart copeland and John Bonham. You are great at getting points across simply, and in a way that puts a smile on my face and determination in my soul. I will be purchasing some hoodies and t's but only when I won't feel like an imposter by wearing them. Keep up the good work, and I hope you and yours are managing to stay healthy and sane.
A beautiful song, Played beautifully, With a beautiful sentiment. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL 👍

Maaan this is soooo smooth! Eat that pocket Rob!!
Great work Rob! Drums and fills sounded great. Love to hear you do a video about how you prepared for this.
That was way cool Mr. Brown. Chapeau my friend
Great cover and most worthy cause! Btw...we say it constantly, but that snare has no equal--it is absolutely superb.
So good brother.

Crushed it 🤘🏻🔥 those flams yo mmmhmmm
Better than the original!!!
nice!
Rob Brown, you know we all want to see your PROGRESSIVe HEAVY METAL grooves on the drums! C'mon!
Its a harder drum part then people think. Holding back knowing when not to play. Had to play this tune two nights a week for many many months. Did I mention how may times I played this song ? :)

ok this is the the shit!
I'm not sure I've seen you just play a song before, if I think about it. This was sweet man. Nice one.
So fucking good
hard to sing his parts haha, great work
Rob "doctor" Brown, out of all the drummers I've subscribed to, I'm turning to you for help. I played drums from 15 to 23 years old.... and in that time I played in my dad's top 40 band on stage several times, and had a band of my own playing anything from Van Halen to Whitesnake, in another band playing Pearl Jam to Alice in Chains even Tool. After a 27 year lay off, I've started back up playing drums, I have the drum sound close to what I've always wanted and now have an audio interface to do drum covers.... but when I play, I don't feel confident and smooth like I once was and it comes thru when I play. How do I get my self playing strong and confident. I've been working on the things I couldn't do well like Bonham doubles on the bass drum(triplet feel) which I can do now and practicing half time shuffles like in The song Rosanna which I'm still stiff, but my great back beat groove seems still inside of me but doesn't come out when I play. What steps do I need to get back that drum feel I used to have, but still progress in learning and trying to keep up with todays drumming??? I know practice, practice, and more practice, but what stuff should I start with? Practice stuff I've always wanted to learn like shuffles and eventually I'll get back into the groove of things (pun intended) or go all the way back practicing what I was always good at and then learn the things I've wanted to play. The latter seems like the longer road, and I quit playing because I was bored of the way I played and other circumstances......help!!!!
The guitarist is shy. Nice playing y'all.

Totally agree, if only the lead vocalist would give him some face time, doh! Great performance, all without the aid of shoulder pads, or overcoats.
Great job! May I ask about what snare head that is? I love how it sounds.

Rob Brown thanks so much!
Dang it, Rob! I saw your response to the one dude as to what you were playing on your snare but it still remains cryptic in my, shall I say, simple mind. (Sorry, I couldn't resist) I know the big fat snare is the head but wtf is "the shining" you referenced? Not trying to dupe but just curious. Thanks and, yes, I contributed.
Great stuff from everyone, but I have to say that Quisha Wint overcame less than ideal recording conditions to really kill it!
I've never been sexually attracted to anything that wasn't a person before, but man Beatdown's drum sound got me feelin some kinda way 🥵🥵
Rob i was hoping you'd join the chorus.
It's kind of resembles U2
Lead singer sounds like Bono.
Not bad. I've heard quite a few covers of this song. The drummer was perfect, background vocals good. It would have been nice if the keyboards were closer matched to the original song. Vocal processing definitely needed for the singer. You forget how much reverb and delay there were in those 80s hits. Lol
Great cover guys!! . One thing though, the guitar after 1m45s is out of tune. That E string (G note) pierce my ears and can't get it out of my head, sorry.
Singer sounds a little like Bono...
