    Great video, but I disagree that intonation should always be attached music. Some students are so bad at hearing correct pitch they need to dedicate their full attention to pitch. They need to be able to make micro-adjustments in pitch, which requires lots of concentration. I assume Weilerstein was a prodigious child and was an extremely fast learner. For the rest of us mortals, we need to focus on one thing at times to really learn basic skills. That said, she's an awesome cellist and a fascinating teacher and performer.
