I'm here from Classic FM page, searching for a longer version of Moon River, played by a duet Father & Daughter. This video was on the list of results. A happy accident.

Her version is breathtaking...

This version is a bit faster than what she played in vox, 7 years later. I find that version is sweeter. Try 0.90X speed and tell me what you think.

It's in the title: Bach Suite no. 1. It's not the whole suit, just the 1. Prelude and the 2. Minuet

Its too staccato, Bach's pieces are meant to be played connected, with passion, and with time. I disagree with Weilerstein's variation. Nonetheless, she's a great player.

If anything shes playing more period accurate, in bach time staccato was the normal way of playing his piece's. But I agree it does sound foreign since we listen to so many romantic interpretations of the prelude
