The way you portrayed their elements through their actions/personalities… water was fluid and calm, slower and more careful. Fire was fast, sharp, energetic. Impulsive, “fiery” in temper (he got angry when his friend was hurt; strong and filled with passion. And they all came together in the form of one united being. The art is incredible (clean and satisfying), and the story, mixed with the music, ring up many emotions… thank you for this piece of work! But can I ask, what is the music? I love it

man Fire boy and Water girl was much more emotional then I remembered.

It does NOT feel like a whole 11 years since I first discovered this masterpiece my goodness, this still gives me feels watching it a decade later. You really put much emotion into this dialog-less film that is for sure and it still holds up well.

When I was little, I didn’t understand or even try to understand what this could’ve meant. Yes I cried, but not because of any hidden messages. Now I wonder what it means. There are two hidden message I have concluded to. The first one is that opposites don’t always have to stay apart. As shown by what the fire and water did together, they created a new living form together. It could show what it means to work and coexist with each other. The second is much more elaborate. Basically, we shouldn’t ever stereotype people or even things, such as water and fire. Water, which is viewed as timid and graceful in this animation, can cause destruction, such as the sprite’s death ended up being the indirect cause of the towers toppling. Meanwhile the element of fire is often viewed as dangerous and deadly, but as seen here, it may destroy, but it also rebuilds and creates new life. Basically, not all good things are entirely good, but not all bad things are entirely bad either.

It's been 11/12 years and this still lives in my memory. Remembering how happy and inspired I was when i was younger watching this has put a mark in my brain to never forget :,) It's nostalgia seeing this again!

I remember years ago, when I discover this lovely and still impressive animation, all the emotions I felt. And I proud to say, this inspire me to create my first relationship of my writing stories

The situation was dire. Two lovers created: Water and Fire. Water was gentle; as graceful as a flower, While Fire was quick, and quite full of power! The two were forbidden to be together. But they found a way, though it was nether. Something arose, with the eyes of destruction. They tried to run, but there was no such construction. Now they could never be in their heart. For, unto death had done them part. Fire, enraged, lashed out at destruction. His death was nothing, due to price reduction. But something arose out of the mist. Destruction had rose, but with a new fist. The flames rose up, and burned him again. While the rain poured down and finished the skin. Something beautiful has risen above. From something forbidden, an old kind of love. Now there is nothing that can do them part. For, together they both have only one heart.

I remember when i was 12 or 13 and this was so beautiful and inspiring to me it was my first fan art and inspired me to create a whole story and continue drawing and creating to this day, still an absolutely beautiful animation ❤

I remember when I saw this as a ten year old with very very little experience with the internet and was absolutely enthralled by it, yet also scared of it at the same time (machine growing flesh was something 10 year old me did not like) lol. I think about this animation from time to time and it brings back good memories.

This animation introduced me to the beauty of indie animation. So many years have passed and it's a beauty to this date.

I am not being sarcastic, I’m loving that KZread is recommending me old KZread videos, I like to see how the old KZread was, because I wasn’t there to see it.

My boy plays all the Fireboy Watergirl games. I love this. I wish it was longer. Absolutely love the soundtrack of this.

It's been almost 10 years since I've last seen that video, and it's still one of the best I've ever seen.

Papermache I guess I don't understand what you're asking. How does what work? Edit: Oh, I get it, it's because this has only been out since 2011. Well, I guess I'm wrong, maybe I watched something similar, or maybe the guy changed accounts and reuploaded it. I just know that I have memories of something like this from when I first started getting into youtube, when I was about 8 years old. So I honestly don't know.

This is one of those animation videos where you first watched it as a 5 year old, didn't understand anything, and then suddenly 10 years later you remember it, look it up and realize it's actually great

Teacher:Alright Class so get ready for our home work -30 minuets later- Teacher:Really A Water person fell down somewhere mysterious and then a fire fell down then the fire tried to introduce his self to the water and somehow a castle jumps up and smashes water (lemme smash becky) the fire got mad and her destroyed the castle like saitama from one punch man and then a huge skeleton comes up on flames then the human muscles were on it and the water covered the muscles to the skin..F YOU FAIL YOU DUMB

This was the first animation I saw in my life It was ages ago... I still miss those times ❤

I remember seeing this animation once like 8 years ago and I'm so happy it finally found its way back into my recommended

I've watched this so many times throughout the years since first seeing it and I love it every time. Something to be proud of 👏

I never watched this as a kid, but this is very beautiful. This emotional masterpiece is way ahead of its time.

..When the world was made, water and fire became friends although they were not compatible. They created a good balance. But.. man's advancements (buidlings and technology) destroyed water.. like we are doing now.. and then, the fire (who felt sad for losing the friend) took revenge from the world/mankind... and after all the destructions... water returned back and turned the artificial man/too many advancements back to human/normal.

violet guy right!? the concept is a masterpiece as the emotions of loss is shown and from it..., an interesting concept. It might be fire that evolved into a man or it might be that man creates destruction. fire & water are very different beings and what's more is that there really aren't meant to be together in our eyes. so maybe water died because humans found it useless for the two to be together. together they create, and together they fight (at least in my opinion).

This was 11 years ayo, Dang, These animations were amazing, Thye were smooth, They were creative! Not like today’s aren’t but i love how beautiful this is!
