    I just purchased a R16 with the i9 14900KF, 4090, 64GB, and 4TB M.2 for $3699 :) Gets delivered next week. Will be a nice upgrade from my self built i9 9900K and EVGA 2080 Ti

Alienware is the best imo. Not just talking about the PC but the WARRANTY is amazing. They'll literally drive to your house and fix your computer no matter where you live in the US. When my SSD went out, they sent me two SSDs for whatever reason. Replaced my screen for free when my dog bumped into it and a few other minor things that got fixed. Like the RGB lights going out on the front of the laptop. Plus I like aliens.

Dell is too stubborn to make a good case. Even back when I was in the IT world, HP servers and workstations were levels above Dell in design, quality and a look, especially on the case. HP back in 2003, 20 years ago used a Coolermaster Case for their gaming PC, it was called the X09 and I built my first gaming PC copying what they did. Maybe some day Dell will spend the money and make a decent gaming PC with a case from Corsair or Coolermaster?

Just saw this review. Really enjoyed it. As a console gamer my whole life, I've been looking into getting a pc for quite some time. I recently made the plunge and went prebuilt. Purchased an Aurora R15 with an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X cpu and 4090 gpu. Have been really enjoying it. I honestly can't believe how good this thing is. Runs like a dream. Have yet to get a monitor setup yet, but I will soon. Until then, I'll just have to settle for my C1 OLED.

The prices are actually a good bit lower than I expected. If I was still in the market for a new PC, the 4080/i7 r16 would actually be near the top of my list. 2300 bucks is a good price for that spec

I love this review, I bought Aurora R13 with the RTX 3090. this made me feel alot better about what i've done. I was a console player but since then moved on and haven't desired to move back. I was first using a 1440p alienware 27" monitor. But since I've bumped it up to a Samsung Odyssey Ark 1st gen. For good measure and I'm not the smartest man in the world when it comes to gaming values. But after I watched this review from start to finish. I really liked and enjoyed the non bs review and helpful tactile tips. I'm going to keep following and hopeful that my future gaming and electronic consumerism are still sound strong. Thank you, so very much for being apart of the community. ❤

I just bought this pc based in part on this review. Dell had a smoking deal on this 4090 setup… $2400, plus a 10% off coupon, along with $70 in Dell rewards and $375 cashback from Rakuten. Can’t wait to put this to work on my streams over my current 2080 Super rig. Thanks!

I am still running an Aurora R9, and my top priority is low noise. I don’t game at all, but I’m a software engineer and also a podcaster, so video and audio work is heavy as well as code compilation, builds, and automated tests. GPU strain is moderate, but I/O speeds are my current limiting factor. I’m interested in this R16 because of its strength in noise. My office is my recording studio and a loud PC has no place there. I would never be able to build my own PC and get it quieter than the R16, so that’s my reason to go prebuilt.

Please please do a tutorial on how you swapped the Alienware cooling fans for the Corsair cooling system.

Hey there. I've been a fan of the Alienware line of PCs for a long time. If you know their limitations going into the purchase, they are great. I personally like picking up the older units (R10 / R12) and setting them with decent CPUs/GPUs. You can buy them for a fraction of the cost of new and there's nothing at all wrong with a 5600x and a 3060 12gb for most use cases including content creation and games. I've been looking at the new R16 and almost pulled the trigger a couple of times on one. I'm excited to see Dell take things in a better direction. I don't mind the proprietary nature of things. They've improved cooling and noise and that's what was missing on the older units. I look forward to getting an R16 at some point. I'm currently running a 12900K / RTX 4070 TI custom rig. I mostly use it for amin and content creation work so it's more than adequate. But I'm still looking forward to the R16 being on my desk at some point in time.

Finally someone who has something good to say about this setup. I'm a gamer who has no interest in building a computer and who doesn't care if the motherboard has usb ports attached to it, or I can't buy another power supply or upgrade my motherboard. Dell has the best warranty of any of them and provides the best choice of options. When Corsair or any of the other pre-built computer companies drive 300 km. to my house to replace a motherboard under warranty like Dell did, I'll take a look at them. Till then.....I'm with Alienware.
