It was a great 80 movie that didn’t age well, I mean those weapons, those outdated 80’s suits and a few marines vs a bunch of alien creatures going directly to an ambush, just a retard would do that, and they didn’t have the technology to know where they were, really 80’s stuff

@luke wilson For me the special effects in Aliens still holds it's own even by today's standards, and on many levels it's even superior. Take the special effects of like The Thing 1982, the gross effects in that movie is so insane that it still impresses me even today, If anything they should do more of this outdated special effects.

Still hard to believe he's gone. He was also great as the hard-nosed drill sergeant in "The Edge of Tomorrow": Tom Cruise's character asked him if he was an American. Answer: "No sir, I'm from Kentucky." Classic.

Ever since Bill said "Game over man, Game over!" Millions of us have repeated it throughout the years. Well done Bill!
Amazing that people around age 30 could make such a great movie in the 80's. I consider it one of the best sci-fi movies. This movie will never be forgotten and people will watch it till humanity exist.
Makes me so sad watching these videos. It reminds me that all these wonderful people in movies don’t last forever. Got to appreciate them while they are with us.

I got the same feeling, as a kid there like super heroes it hurts to see u can't get away from age, life is amazing, I feel overwhelmed hurt and happy and kinda lucky to have been in a kid in the 80s 💔❤️💔

I also feel sad that many of the actors and actresses I growed up watching as a kid will one day die
I had bit of a crush in Sigourney (Susan) when I was a teenager. At the age of 70 that woman still looks stunning! And RIPs to everymember of the cast that isn't with us anymore.

My favorite from the 80’s and top ten. I remember buying the Special Edition on VHS around the year 2000 and my buddy said to me “I can’t believe you bought that.”
Aliens , the epitome of classic . I kind of get emotional watching this .....
The music is eerily soothing
I grew up watching this movie countless times and watched it again yesterday. I was always fond of all the crew and cast even tho most of the characters die early. RIP to the actors that died irl
I felt really sad seeing Al Matthews picture before he died. Time took its toll on him. I would have never guessed that was him in a million years.

My first time at the cinema ... pre premiere at Christmas ... front row ... giant screen ... sound effects ... I was in shock for a few years. I've never seen anything like it. From this film came my admiration and fascination for cinema .. Thank you cast, directors and technicians ..

Hell, Just watched Bill Paxton last night as Morgan Earp in Tombstone with Kurt Russell, Sam Elliot and Val Kilmer et al. Sadly missed another taken too soon. RIP Bill. Forgot to include Micheal Beihn as Johnny Ringo.

One of my favorite movies. Even seen it on the big screen. Sadly a number of the actors gone now...then again I am getting older. RIP Bill Paxton, Al Matthews (Apone), Trever Steedman (Wierzbowski), Tip Tipping (Crowe) & Paul Maxwell (Van Leuwen). Also James Horner (music)...what a soundtrack! @@scottdavidson526 Bill's character, standing in the middle of the 3, was shoved into the fence behind, knocked out. Guy on Bill's left got chest punctured. Guy on Bill's right was knocked over to the side but he was the one who ended up taking his clothes off...

So did I. Back in 1986, movie rating rules/laws were weak, I was 11 at that time and I ended up watching it 4 times in the theater. Couldnt get enough of it. The best part? The whole audience had the scare reflex on the facehugger kiss in the water tank when Burke got too close to it in the lab.

so many good memories of that film, watched it in late '99 and I remember clearly when the pilot said "we're in the pipe, five by five"; didn't really understand what it meant back then, but it sounds cool, I think they use the same line in one of Starcraft's unit, hence I recognize it clearly. Bill Paxton, always remember when he said "chicken shit" from the aliens and those "special" skid marks on face from Terminator 2, always cracks me up.

@@desperkins5721 Ha, no he was a child, look up George hickey he was in the car behind Kennedy and he had a assault rifle with frangible bullets he pulled the trigger when the car speeds up and accidentally shot Kennedy, that's why the CIA destroyed the evidence (autopsy photos etc) check out the theory? I was part of the UKCM Aliens fan group. As part of the group I got to meet the actors who played Frost (Ricco Ross) Dietrich, (Cynthia Scott) Spunkmeyer, (Daniel Kash) Ferro (Collette Hiller) and Wierzbowski. (Trevor Steedman.) They were all wonderful people. Friendly funny bunch of guys. Trevor Steedman aka Wierzbowski was a huge fave with the fans. He remembered us all spoke to us like old friends. Full of humour and a lovely guy. All the guys were gutted when he died. Wonderful man.

Fun fact is that Michael Biehn and Jenette Goldstein both played a role in a Terminator-movie. Michael Bhien played the role of Kyle Reese in Terminator 1 and Jenette Goldstein played the role of Janelle Voight in Terminator 2.

I love that sequel of alien,rest in peace those who already died.
This movie still stands the test of time, which is an amazing feat for a film with so many special effects! I watch it every year or so and I still get affected the same as I did when I first saw it in 1986. To me it is the greatest sequel ever made because it surpasses the original, meaning that Alien is a masterpiece and Aliens takes it to another level. I don't care much for this genre, but these 2 films are beyond. Thanks.
