This looks good and this is the location/time period I wanted the ALIEN TV series to be set in. I'm not sure about the ALIEN TV series being set on Earth in the near future. I think it will lack the feeling of an ALIEN movie and will contradict what was established in the original ALIEN (meaning the alien was unknown to humans) or it will severally limit what you can do with the alien species on Earth.

Fede putting young adult women in inescapable terrorizing situations again😂 love it!

Im so hyped. Fede already proved he cant make a awesome Reboot with Evil Dead. Having control of this and taking inspiration from Isolation, one of the best parts of the entire franchise plus practical effects for the Xenos is showing the makings kf the franchise getting a big w like how Prey gave back hope for Predator

I think we might finally get a good Alien movie again after all those years

honestly i feel Alien franchise should have continued down with the Engineers storyline. Prometheus and its theme about creation was refreshing.

​@Bobbysworldofimagination not every alien film was practical. Resurrection, avp, avp 2, prometheus and Covenant mostly had cgi xenomorphs. This film is going back to how the first 2 movies did it.

Why would someone even consider remaking such a legendary film, especially with such young actors? They lack the depth of experience, the hard-earned perspective, and the distinctive character and nonchalance that only come with age. This is clearly an attempt to capitalize on the fame of the cult classic and target a younger audience that may be less familiar with the franchise. It's bound to be a derivative, predictable, and uninteresting rehash.

This.... Isn't a remake. Like at all. It's a sequel set between the first 2 movies, like the Isolation game that this films takes inspiration from.

Generic as it gets. Covenant deserved a sequel. What a waste
