Its honestly a lose-lose situation. Either you unleash a demon from hell with eyes bloodshot from caffeine withdrawal, or you get a stone cold ambush and endurance hunter, all wrapped in one package, solely focused on ruining your day. Yeah, best way to play that game, is not playing it at all.

Interesting every coffee drinker I know has the same opinion, must be something to it. Myself, perhaps not so serious, but I did start in the military on a day when it was the ONLY thing available to me and I was hungry, so, not untrue about the benefits of having it.

In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then in that very moment I also love him. And then, in that very moment when I love them.... I destroy them. Enders Game
During the original Twilight Zone series there was an episode where powerful aliens came to Earth and threatened to destroy humanity unless we could change. The countries convened at the UN and after centuries of war and conflict humanity resolved to achieve planetary peace. That wasn’t what the aliens wanted from them. The episode was called “A Small Talent For War.” The aliens were the progenitors of humanity. Humans were bred by the aliens to be war-like and become the future soldiers for these aliens. Desiring to be peaceful was a failure. At the end of the episode, the aliens decided to wipe out the current crop of humans and start over.

Sounds like a short story in a book I own, A ww2 German officer woke up in an alien prison with a Roman Centurion and Zulu warrior and was told that they were a weapon and about to be tested by fighting a competing alien-lifeform weapon and they defeat their opponents but as one the humans refuse to kill them citing honor and such, it ends with the alien writing a report suggesting the humans still refused to follow orders
Oh, man! U.S. Special Forces, trained in alien combat, loosed upon the Universe?😂😂😂😂🍻🍻🍻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🌎🌎🌎
Ever since the first human packs joined into tribes, we have been warring. It is much human nature as breathing.
@donscheid97

No, it began before that and we had to survive predators bigger and better "armed" than us. Natural armor and weapons (claws, big teeth) are a disadvantage.

Well, that's the disadvantage of using AI to narrate for you. For the homeworld? Instead of FOR THE HOMEWORLD!!! The AI has no idea how much omph to give to each sentence.

Yeah we saw death in eyes and did between the eye shots on armored foes that also need a shot to a weak point in the neck plate. And later a face plate was noted. So wait - are their faces open to combat or not ?

To be fair, a number of the human-read story channels have an equally poor sense of narrative.
A new subscriber here, and also a U.S. Army combat vet with the 759th EOD CO "Detonators" six tours Iraq/Afghanistan. This story was really good IMO, and I would greatly love to see this as a series.

Oh hell yeah, I love 'Humanity F--- Yeah!' stories. Especially the ones that talk about the highly controlled substance adrenaline that one species seems to produce naturally.
The story concludes before revealing its final twist, that Davis's true name is ... REACHER!
Humanity has been fighting for survival ever since the fall from grace. Fighting is definitely something we have perfected. As our parents taught us...Don't start it. But you darn well better finish it! I have passed this tidbit down to my children and grandchildren. We never started anything, but we darn sure finished it!!!

Hi. Hand made color subtitles (like most of youtube audiobook channels) would be nice for us non-native English speakers. Thanks.

Yeah! Quantum jump lets uncover past experience (and race traumas) to create present solution - like skills loading up in matrix virtual library and it was vast... Half John Wayne style ;) so then a bit of Jackie Chan in the situation is needed to chill down hot acting surroundings. Hopi tribe was (as I have read somewhere) called friends of ant-people. So the whole cosmic soup is warming up...

Wow... So many narrations of low-quality sci fi stories revolving around humans being the galactic ubermensch. It's almost like these channels are posting spit with titles they know will grab quick views... But people will quickly tire of this, these channels will fade, and their owners will scramble to find and capitalize on the next quick-buck trend. All that work, for what? You channel owners are stuck in an endless cycle, doomed to fail, because you're too lazy to generate quality content.
