I am always amazed about how many MJ fans watch this and miss so many references, so, good job but the kid wearing the mask is a reference when MJ wore the mask, the drummer was wearing a white glove and there is more.. Been tempted to make a full list. Honestly, I am not a fan of remakes but this one I like better than the original.

Never seen that before. Lots of references to MJ’s own videos and his personal life too. The leaning move is the most famous from the original video. I met the choreographer from MJ’s video and learned the secret to that. Thanks, Michele!

Great reaction!! Personally, I LOVE this version! Nothing beats the MJ original - but AAF did a great job with this cover! The energy, groove - it all paid perfect tribute and homage to the King Of Pop (RIP)! I have a 90's alternative playlist - this is on it. For my 80's pop/rock playlist, it's MJ. Cheers!

I'm not that into rap, I do like some metal but I love the band Faith No More....who blended metal and rap beautifully. You have never reacted to them. Check out their song "Epic"....and other Faith No More stuff. They are amazing!

AAF is based here in Southern California (Riverside). Their personal music backgrounds are varied. They got asked to play and did in Wales at a MJ tribute. Personally i loved this version and the video was fun. Though never really confirmed to the band that MJ loved both the song and the video. It was reported that he was shown the video before its release. ❤

That was a great request Michele, I hadn't seen the video in a long time so I really enjoyed it. Actually I prefer this version to MJ's original (sacrilege I know) but the main riff is perfect for a band that plays this style of music. I'm not so sure that AAF are in the Korn, Limp Bizkit school of nu-metal, to me they are more in the pop punk mould of Blink 182, Sum 41, early Green Day etc. Anyway, I enjoyed it a lot and it reminded me of my CD store in Cape Town where I sold a few copies of this album surprisingly enough! Thanks guys!

primera vez que entro a un video en inglés. estudié 2 años imedio de inglés y cuando hablan, algo entiendo pero bueno: a lo que boy: con respecto a esta canción tengo que decir que me gusta más esta berción que la original. lo siento mucho michael jackson pero, esta berción me hace poguar a fulll. anegdota: a esta canción (particularmente esta bersión) la descubrí en un viejo cd de mp3 que me prestó un primo mío y el cd estaba recontra rayado pero todabía algunas canciónes se podían escuchar. les pregunto: ¿se acuerdan cuando se gravaban cds con mp3? acá en montecaseros, corrientes argentina mi ciudad tener un aparato con lector de mp3 era el boom! posta. yo cuando tuve el mío, lo exprimí. espero les guste mi comentario y aguante el rock y metal en tooodos los idiomas. yo soy así y si, no solo de lo clasico vive el hombre. yo me crié con el nu metal de bandas como korn, limp bizkit, linkin park etc. y que lindo que existan opiniónes diferentes. viva la buena musica carajo. rock is forever.

They sent MJ the video prior to the release, originally he didn’t like the pop lock kid wearing the mask, they reshot his part absent the mask while they were already on tour, turned out he preferred the mask version.

While this is a great cover, it kind of upsets me that it causes the rest of the album to be ignored. It is a phenomenal album and the musicians in the band are phenomenal as well. I actually just saw them live last week.

We read that MJ loved the video and approved of it. You're right its a mock, but they're big fans of MJ and had an entire back and fourth with Michael about what and what not to include.

Incorrect, that song was by the band "Bloodhound Gang". This is a cover, not a mock, and everything was given the okay by MJ himself.

Prefer Michael's original.
