She definitely has that crazy factor!

She's young, turned 20 on June 1. As far as professional gigs go, has mainly supported a former member, named Junnosuke Taguchi, of a J-Pop boy-group called Kat-tun. She did a crowdfunding Sept-Oct 2020 to finance an album that was released in May 2021, called "Graduation Album", that celebrated her graduation from high school. She was going for 1.3M yen but raised about 8M yen (about $53,000). Hideki Aoyama of Babymetal's Kami Band plays on the album (they met when he also supported the J-Pop guy). She has covered the vocaloid superstar Ado and they seem to be acquainted, as Ado sent her congratulations on her birthday last year. Seems she started playing bass in the 1st grade of middle school (7th grade US), she was in her high school's music club, liked math in school, enjoys illustrating and drawing as a hobby. She played guitar some in her school days, borrowing her dad’s instrument. Has attended the classes/seminars of a bassist named Igo, who also plays on her album. She used a black Elrick bass when she started out, naming it "Rick', also had a red one named "Shu" and a white one named "Steve". In the LB "Bravehearted" vdo and this one she's playing a Freedom Rhino, although she also has a Bacchus signature model. She's been the center of some controversy in the past, not her fault of course. It seems she did have some vdos of herself with face showing but took them down in Dec. 2019 because some nutcases were harassing her about her looks, one idiot posted her real name. She explained the vdos not showing her face/head by saying she wanted to be judged on her playing skills, not looks. That brought more harassment, people saying it didn't make sense to hide her face when she was wearing short skirts, jiggling around, and advertising herself as a "JK", which in Japanese refers to a high school girl. Then the bassist/reacter Davie504 got on her case, saying that the fact she's a girl is what got her all the views and subs, and that she wasn't actually playing the music in her vdos, that she was doing a lousy job syncing her playing to the soundtrack. She responded that he was wrong on both counts. I guess it all doesn't matter, she's with LB, I don't know who Davie or her other critics are with. She has a ton of subs. That's probably explained by a combination of factors: looks, ability, backing a J-Pop star, covering and communicating with a vocaloid superstar.

@@GrayFox14 I really paid almost no attention to her until the LB announcement, so am no expert. My impression is that in 2020 her gigs were mainly in support of Junnosuke Taguchi, some also in 2021, and further in 2021 some live shows and streams centered on her album. She seems also to have backed other musicians-such as Hideki Aoyama, a vocaloid artist (not Ado), a shamisen player, a vocalist specializing in covers of pop and vocaloid tunes-on several occasions. She only had 3 or 4 vdos up this year before the LB announcement. It doesn't seem that she had a very active playing schedule, so it's possible the LB job has saved her professional career.

@@-tamayura-8977 Thank you! I don't know why Davie504 did it. But I do know that he didn't act like a man. If this happened in 2020, then Fami was 18 years old. I watched her video. Fami played bass at the age of 18 in such a way that many experienced bassists can envy her skills. It's good that Fami was selected for LOVEBITES. I hope she will make a good career as a musician in this band.

FAMI is also a famous KZreadr in Japan. But I've never seen a video of her playing heavy metal. That's why I am so surprised.

Fami's skills are insane!! She is def not a metal bassist going by her channel, but she can become one!! Great choice, she has such a fun personality too!! Can't wait to see what they come up with next!! 🤘🐺🤘

I agree! I also think a lot of what makes a band great is how they all get along together. The ladies are all pretty tight it seems so hopefully this continues!

Fami is a great bassist. im sooo happy that she joined Lovebites. Lovebites did a great job choosing Fami. its time for Lovebites to rock the world again

@@borisketou3177 Nobody is born a metalhead. Perhaps only Miyako's child was born a metalhead? Because was at 4 metal concerts with Miyako before was born. 😊At first glance, Asami was also not suitable for a metal band. Her experience is Soul, R&B, Jazz. She was told that the new band would play metal. Asami asked : "Metal? What is it?" We must wait until the new album is released and then it will be seen in which direction LOVEBITES decided to move.

Fami is sensational - just what Lovebites needed - youth, enthusiasm, energy, and more talent! I just wish she also had a metal background too, but she can play anything I imagine. I just hope she enjoys playing metal and doesn't get bored with it.

I was really surprised when I first saw the video of Fami's performance. Great young talent! It was worth the wait until now, as Fami was very happy to be the bass player in LOVEBITS. I can't wait to hear the new LOVEBITES song, because some metal bands like HIBRIA make the most of their slap. It would be great if we could make songs that make good use of Fami's talent.

Been following Fami for the last few years and I'm still a bit in shock that she's now the bassist for Lovebites. Yes, absolutely insane talent like the rest of the ladies, but most of her covers and original are poppy, aggro-slap bass that is waaaay different than Lovebites--I mean, their bass parts are kinda tame in comparison, so to speak. I never saw her do any metal song covers, so completely surprised that she auditioned. Like you said though, Asami was originally an R&B singer, so I'm excited to see what Fami brings. I just hope she can do her thing within the context of"Lovebites"

She is the happiest and Most Excited young lady you have ever seen. She also talks about not posting for over 9 months because she was re-thinking her life going forward as a solo bassist KZreadr. She is also excited and happy to Finally show her FACE to all of her fans (she never directly showed it before) and talk to them "Face to Face, Face to Face, Face to Face!" She is absolutely Precious... BTW, go back and watch the Lovebites announcement again, and listen for Fami's two Huge divebombs on her base at the very end.

Bro HG, As good as the living legend Warren Buffet who has the eye for acquiring potential growth stocks for his entity Berkshire Hathaway, Miyako and Co similarly have an eye for scouting talent that would fit into the growth of Lovebites.. With the vacuum left by Miho's departure, I think naturally it opens the door to best fit someone who could figure prominently in their evolving journey rather than focused on status quo (stagnation is the precursor to disintegration). Personally, when I hear compositions of Inspire, Under the red Sky, Dystopia symphony and Paranoia,, I feel that these ladies have so much undiscovered ground to be explored, which is an analogy of a potential growth stock. I have no qualms if they move to new adventures, and I believe with the inclusion of Fami, this might be the dream team that Miyako is building, setting her sights to drive Lovebites to new heights. The impetus is, Miyako must grow for Lovebites to grow. No doubt there will be some followers falling out of favor, but that is a natural consequence of evolution.and growth. Nothing is eternal, only transient. So bro Hg, whats your bet that it will work out? I will double up on that😅😅😅because I believe in Miyako.

Fami brings a progressive element to the mix, and I agree, Miyako seems to be driven in that direction. But not just her. I think all of them are adventurous. I have heard little clips of Haruna jamming to jazz and fusion pieces--she is much more versatile than she has shown with LB or Destrose. As Woody Allen said, "a relationship is like a shark. If it doesn't keep moving forward, it dies!"

The ladies of Lovebites have a lot work to do. Fami is what I refer to as a lead bass, AKA MISA. It's going to be fun.

This is the most inspired decision of the 21st Century. I’m stoked,seriously. Not sure if you saw her announcement to her subscribers, but I’ve never seen a human being more excited in my life. And she’s no different on the introduction video grinning from ear to ear the whole thing. The possibilities are endless because she’s almost the bass equivalent of Miyako…she is multi instrumental, has a great singing voice, her positive energy is bang in line with the band. I’m going to be pretty unpopular, but I happen to think that the best band of my lifetime has just been improved. Many think that the twin guitar solos may, on occasion, be joined by Fami, which just blows my mind. I’ve been grinning almost as much as her since the announcement. And I’m already noticing more reactions to Lovebites that mention her specifically, meaning they’re her followers checking out Lovebites. Like I said, inspired decision. I’m sure I know a song by that name..😂

Oh ya, Fami is every bit as good as F Chopper Koga. She is a great choice for Lovebites and will bring alot to Lovebites. She has a beautiful singing voice as well. I as so escited and can not wait to hear her with Lovebites in a new song.

The burgundy 5-string bass used by new bassist Fami is made by "Freedom," a Tokyo-based workshop specializing in custom guitars. It is a model of the "Rhino" series named Sasuke/Rosewood. Fami used a 5-string bass guitar in the unveiling video. And yet, Fami ordered a 4-string custom made bass. It is made by Freedom, a Tokyo-based workshop specializing in custom guitars. It will be delivered in the summer of 2023. Announced in live talk content on December 5, 2022 on KZread channel "Fami。" For the songs before Fami joins "LOVEBITES", Fami may use the 4-string bass he ordered this time. But Miyako is a genius and should make the most of her Fami slap in the near future. Fami posted a BassCover of an arrangement of "Aimer Zankyo Zanka" in December 2022. Fami is covered fingerpicking. The bass guitar used by Fami in the bass cover of "Zankyo Zanka" is her signature guitar. I owned a Bacchus Handmade Series signature headless bass WOODLINE5AC-HL Fami when I was 19 years old. P.S. Fami’s destiny just aligned with Lovebites’. She’s more than happy to be part of the band and it shows. She was so lost in her music career that she stopped posting videos for about nine months, then she knew about the Lovebites bass audition announcement, she applied… and the rest is history.
