Alice in Wonderland - Miniature Carousel Book
This is how I assembled the miniature book. I think this is an activity that requires some degree of attention to detail and fine motor skills ability due to the size of the different parts (the final house will be 5 cm tall). Some tabs that will have to be glued are as small as a few millimeters.
I used 200g paper to make the model that I used for the video, but I think a good result can be achieved with thinner paper, too. If you are using thinner paper, it would probably be easier to glue the small tabs. I cut all the items using scissors (I used a cutting knife to make the holes for the windows, but those are an optional part, the step can be skipped).
I used a ruler to apply pressure to the paper, creating the creases, and then I folded the paper back and forth several times for each crease, helping the paper become accustomed to the folds.
