Man, if i had a time machine & thinking about going back in the past, it would have to be the period between the late 90s & early 2000s --- best times of my life, hands down. And the music from that era was unmatched. That's the golden age of Eurodance & Freestyle, so many great songs from different artists: Alice Deejay, Rockell, YBZ, Joee, Emjay, i could go on & on! Sadly, this type of music is on life support today. Except for people like us, no one seems to be listening to them today, you hardly ever hear them on the radio. Or could it be because no one's putting out new Euro songs? And kids today have a different taste in music, they'd rather be listening to Nicki Minaj & Megan Thee Stallion 😂 As for me, i still play them in my car, pure energy & nostalgia.

I'm 60 and what a tune this is

This takes me back to Malta - December, 1999, clubbing. I just left Footloose disappointed with the scene and made my way to Havana. While this song was playing, I met a woman from the UK there, and we hit it off. This was a day or two before New Years. Amazing times, amazing music, and wow, never knew how hot the performer was was! I still love her music and use it to work out to. She really was awesome talent.

For some reason this song seems to hit way way deeper emotions than all the other 90s trance (some of which was pretty emotional). I can't listen to this without welling up. It's such a simple song, but somehow it's so touching.

I have a few memories with this tune. Being dumped by an ex - she gave me the album on the drive to drop me off. Will always thank her for that. Also, with another ex when I was absolutely half cut on a Friday night - we went iceskating. Was a messy evening. Arguing. I was alone, upset, then this came on. Went BACK on the icerink alone, lap after lap and smiled. It's such a tune.

great song, yes this was in the charts between March and May 2000 in Australia, we were often a bit behind Europe or America. This song was when the Y2k bug was supposed to end the world, there is always some drama at the time, and then you look back and it was actually great!!
