"I've got a Bayer on my back" 🎶 Clever album & lyrics that I appreciate 'til this day.

Loved this lp since it came out. Saw the show live. Alice was sick during this period, but rebounded by 1985.

Völlig unterschätztes Album, eine perle der frühen 80'jahre... Nicht einzuordnen aber der Hammer...

Love this album; such a product of it's time. Alice only stayed in this rock/snynth./cars type sound mode for a short time but I love it ------ to death. Sorry, couldn't resist.

special forces was and is 1 of my fav albums ever.it straight ip gives h.s. memories of junior year.and year later we played the special forces album and cranked Scools Out at graduation and went straight 2 the party

I remember watching Alice do Clones on Pink Lady back in 1980. Still have my original vinyl copy...Awesome album

I saw it too. That performance made an impression on me as a kid. Very New Wave back when New Wave was probably at it's finest.

Love this record. My 1st was Constrictor but after Raise Your..... I started buying his back catalog and found Flush the Fashion and DaDa and so on. Yeah so many gems

Simply one of his best albums Pain being one of my fav songs on the album .10/10 from me.

I listen to this album more than any other AC album & I have them all. I've seen them several times including this tour in July 1980...one week b4 my "18"th bday at "🔥HOUSTON ROCKS🔥" Sabbath(Heaven&Hell) BlueOysterCult Alice Cooper & 3 other bands, 😎 Different band line-ups Different decades. Lyrics here about future realities. I appreciate all his different albums & band line-ups. People think they are the Siskel&Ebert of RockJamZ here. Obviously some of y'all haven't banged yo headZ hard enough. 🙈🙉🙊

One of his very best solo albums along with Dada and From The Inside I feel. Pain is outstanding.

Talk Talk by 1960s garage band The Music Machine. Took me a while to get it. Clones was covered by the Smashing Pumpkins on a B-side to a single.

As a punk rocker I always liked his dark Quadrilogy.

@@naveentiku3106 My brain is never very good at listening to lyrics, I pick up catchy choruses and the occasional lyric, but for me it's more about the emotion/mood of the song that grabs me. Listening to this album more it's really growing on me.

Another AC release that is easily forgotten. Mostly rapping to tinny staccato sounds. Little of the melodic singing from earlier times is to be heard. The chorus is not really used to their abilities. I think the production is typical from the era, and that is not a good thing. Traditional arena rock was in a bad spot at the moment. Punk, synths and new wave put a lot of pressure on many artist. I find it great that others love the album, because then it wasn’t made in vane. Da Da is the most interesting album from this era, imo, but nothing beats the original band.

Agree... some of the old guard bands from the 70s were a bit behind the eight ball at that time. This is a bit of a confusing attempt from him to catch up with that time. Good effort though..

As a fan od Cooper from the beginning, I must say unfortunately that this was a time when he was in the unfortunate world of Coke and the freebase pipe. This is straight up trash compared to the work done with collaborator Dick Wagner. This doesn't come close to billion dollar babies or Welcome to my nightmare. Even tho Davey Johnstone is an absolute legend, someone convinced Cooper that he had jump on the new wave band wagon.... This is garbage
