Daft Buggers. If the original line-up of UB40 got back together they'd sell out Wembley stadium over and over again and make bucket loads of money. This is 2019 not the 80's. No way are they big enough to fill a stadium these days. They struggled to fill the Royal Albert Hal and that was with a whole array of famous guests.

Tell me about it .....since 1984 I've seen them so many times ..even though I was in to my drum and bass in the 90s ....I still always went to see the UBs if they were on tour and belive me those concerts were always sold out ..so I totally agree with your comments

UB40 came about the influence of Blacks Caribbeans (reggae Music) influence had on them in Birmingham (England). The place had a huge Afro Caribbean population in the 70s

@@jimmymorgan3324 Hi Jimmy actually 21 albums of the 39 they did were there own songs written mostly by Ali. I saw him on an interview a few days ago about people saying they only did covers! Ali said there's 21 albums of our own work out there if people want to hear it. ( Straight from the horse's mouth so to speak ) ✌️

Ali leaving the "original" UB40 is nothing short of a tragedy. Neither Ali or the remaining band members have done anything worthwhile since they went their separate ways. Breaks my heart - truly loved UB40.

@@jamesdavies542 ali had left ub40 band since 1 years ; all the hits 1980-2007 are with ub40 so he was a PART now he hav NOTHIN TO DO with band he left.... so whatever who is lead singer, this isnt ali who left the band to pursuit solo career but he had cancelled few entire tour with his own name in 2009-2010-2011 so now he use frauduly his ex band name just for confuse audience and sell some tickets.. ..

Yes maybe, but Duncan came along in his £175 1999 red Rover 200 and immediately began ruining the Great covers, that let's face it, most of us would never have ever heard of if it wasn't for the band. They also have about 19 self penned albums too.
