crazy to think we started out with just an island
Crazy to think that this had to be rotated manually by hand. Yeah - there are no instances where two unrelated IDs are coupled to one another. I swear. That field is always taken up by the continental parent (so Rae has a parent to Laurentia which has a parent to North America)

Usually when you want to distinct plate IDs to move together, say Siberia (1003) move with Laurentia (4728) and you'd first set the anchored plate ID to that of the stationary plate ID (so 4728), then look for the plate ID you want to anchor to it (1003). Then you take the relative rotation and manually edit the rotation.rot file inserting a new line for the anchoring.
