Algebra 55 - Gauss-Jordan Elimination
A system of linear equations in matrix form can be simplified through the process of Gauss-Jordan elimination to reduced row echelon form. At that point, the solutions can be determined directly from the matrix, without having to convert it back into equations.

It must take days to write the script, record, edit. Top job mate.
the best gauss-reduction explanation in the example work out above all th videos on youtube! excellent work WhyU!!
Best videos on linear algebra!
It just gets better. Can't wait for the next one.
The right to left and bottom to top really helped, I was confused!!! Thank you sir🙏🏾
A very good explanation. Highly appreciated, sir
Love the explanation! Thank you very much!!
cool graphic s ad information...which software dd you use ?
Clean and simple explanation, well done
Gr8 video sir, thank you sooo much for this wonderful and concise explanation. GOD bless you big time.
Amazing explanation!
Thank you Professor Von Schmohawk!
Thank you very very very much 😍 This is the best explanation in the world
Amazing way of teaching ☺️
wow..fantastic explanation ever
Really good animation explanation...which software did you used.. can you tell that
Is there any video on inverses of matrix? BTW great video and great explanation!
Thank you professor, really helpful for me
Superb explanation
LOve you, man !
thank you . it all make sense now.
Bloody superb! crystal clear even for a dumb like me....thanks a lot.
What grade would you learn this in? Ive seen this topic as part of pre calc and also part of linear algebra.
thank you very much.
you are a really genius
Great video.
Thank you professor
youre amazing thank you
nice but you say that in row echelon form leading entry will be one as it necessary, as it is requirement for reduced echelon form

no it is not necessary, thanks
thank you so much
Wow, amazing
thank u very much!!!
thank you
Amazing
Thanks a lot sir..🥰
Cool!🤩
Thank you so much, great representation.
Can you do a video on simplifying rational expressions please.

See Why U pre-algegra chapter 26 - "Simplifying Mixed Exponential Expressions". It might be a good idea to watch pre-algebra chapters 24 through 31.
Awesome..
I have question, if a matrix is not n*n, but m*n what is the main diagonal?

I think the most general definition of "main diagonal" for an m*n matrix is the group of entries where m=n. However, some people prefer that the concept of "main diagonal" should only apply to square matrices.

*thumbs up*
i wish i found you earlier
Thankkkk uuuu man,
this cartoon is really genius xD
at 10:22 should it be R1 plus 6R3?

Clasid777 he implied a step. R1+(-6)R3 -> R1; you need to multiply by negative 6 so when you sum them together it eliminates the positive 6 to a zero. Whole purpose is to try to isolate variables separately for each equation

If he performed the operation you suggested a 12 would pop up instead of a zero when you sum them

We don't have one. But thanks for the good wishes! - Professor V.S.
Why is there no information regarding who Jordan is, or why his name is part of this part of algebra or where he is from as the professor so proudly gave the background bio on Gauss "from germany"?
