    He probably remembers the planning stage more than the shooting of each film. He often said that for him the film was basically done by the time production started. Since he always planned for Cary Grant, it makes some sense he'd refer to Grant being in Rear Window.

    "[In Rear Window] Cary Grant was a photographer" I think Mr. Hitchcock meant Jimmy Stewart

    0:20 Hitchock in this moment says that Cary Grant play the main hero in the movie "Rear window". He was mistaken, since this role is played by James Stewart.

    Jimmy Stewart really wanted the lead role in North By Northwest, but Hitchcock didn't think he was right for the role.

    Merely confused his two most-used leading men .. wud be like Scorsese absent-mindedly saying Leonardo when he means Robert .. or John Ford and Henry Fonda instead of John Wayne :)

    Your loosing your mind Hitch! Cary Grant was not a photographer and was never in Rear Window. I hope you meant Jimmy Stewart.
