Despite that I think Alfie respected Arthur because of that. He was playing on his nerves but during meeting with Luca he said that Arthur is an animal. He never ever said that about anyone. Ever. That wgole 'shalom' thing was revenge but also, on typical Alfie manner, a show of respect.

Getting into the show, I was already exposed to clips of Arthur angrily resisting the urge to tear Alfie's nerves out of his throat 0:47 So watching Arthur be so kind and respectful to Alfie in their first meeting is almost gut wrenching

I feel like the key to being Alfie Solomons is literally not having a single care about what other people think and speaking your mind.

He’s the only character that’s ever fucked over characters I love constantly and I still love him

We never did get a conclusion between Alfie and those FUCKING starlings.

Alfie is easily one of the best characters and Tom Hardy is fucking incredible
