Alexisonfire performing This Could Be Anywhere In The World live at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on 11 December 2012, recorded exclusively by Moshcam.
Alexisonfire rose up out of the Southern Ontario underground in late 2001 like some monstrous and utterly captivating car-accident-in-progress. Hitting the ground with an immediate full head of steam, Dallas Green, George Pettit, Wade MacNeil, Chris Steele and Jordan Hastings have not only impressed the critics with their sour/sweet approach to performance and writing, but are recognized for their stellar musicianship, and the palpably pent-up tightness of the band live.
In August 2011, George posted a message to fans on the band's official website stating that with the departure of two members, Alexisonfire would issue several special releases and complete a farewell tour before parting ways. In terms of farewells, it was a fittingly fierce one. After ten years together, Canadian post-hardcore kings Alexisonfire called it a day in 2011, but they weren't going out without a helluva party and one last tour. Australia was lucky enough to be one of just four countries they'd visit and Moshcam was lucky enough to capture their searing swansong in Sydney.

Dallas has the voice of a fucking angel. I wish I could sound at least half that good!
Dallas Vocals are always on point.
Dallas Green has the most fluid, soothing voice I have ever heard.
Dat moment @3:37 when 'Walk with US!' is sang and the impact from the silence after the word 'us' rings out like a chime from every voice in the room. It really is the definition of the word 'us'.

huge Dallas fan, and came to AOF through following him. Glad he gets props for his voice, but the contrast between he and George is sick! Respect to George here too

Bad mixing. instead of dialing back on the gain. they dailed down the volume. plus its all dallas, don't you know? City and colour 4 lyfe apparently
To be fair, he'd been screaming for a long time. Most bands like these play for about 40 minutes. His vocals held up pretty well imo.

i agree, ven look at live city and colour from years ago......I think though he is being a little more conservative with high notes. Look at day old hate soundwave concert and look at the same song preformed over the last year or two...less high notes, but better vocally.
